At the beginning of the episode, Mithila is shocked to see Anand and Gopika so late at night. Gopika returns the chunri. Mithila asks what is the meaning of this. Anand says Gopika has decided that she cannot marry Saksham. Everyone is shocked. Mithila asks Gopika if it is true. Gopika nods to say yes. Mithila asks if this decision is her own. Ramila comes there and says Gopika took this decision for Ashi’s sake as she loves her sister dearly. Ramila tells Gopika that they all want her to get married to Saksham. Ashi also tells her that she should not say no to Saksham. Ramila says it is God’s will, so who are they to refuse this.
Mithila tells Saksham, she told that Gopika is fearless and is he ready for this marriage now. Saksham says yes. Everyone is happy. Ba tells Tejal to get chocolate and feeds chocolate to Saksham and Gopika. Mithila says goodbye to them and asks Ramila and Ashi to come to Modi’s house along with Gopika, to prepare for the wedding. Gopika touches Mithila’s feet and she blesses her.
Ashi does Gopika’s makeup. Ramila and Ashi tell that she is looking very pretty today. They stop Gopika from wearing her glasses. Everything appears hazy to her. They all reach Modi’s house. Gopika is about to crash into something when Saksham helps her. He tells her that he will accompany her inside. Ramila says Rashi wants to go to the washroom. Chirag shows her the way. Ramila is surprised to see all the jewelry. Mithila shows Gopika the jewelry and asks if she likes those. Gopika cannot see them clearly and choose something randomly, Ramila says she doesn’t have to choose just to see as they all belong to her. Ba says they have a ritual where mother-in-law gives saree to daughter-in-law. Both Mithila and Meenal are about to pick a saree. Mithila says Gopika can pick herself. Gopika is confused.
Ashi goes to Chirag’s room and sees branded shoes. Chirag says he is happy that someone knows about this brand in this city.
Mithila asks Gopika to tell her choice. Saksham picks the saree in Mithila’s hand and says this will look good on Gopika. Mithila requests Meenal to let her do things in Saksham’s wedding and she will not say anything at Chirag’s wedding. Meenal agrees. Ramila gestures to Ashi and says you liked the same saree in the market and how hers and Meenal’s choice is the same. Meenal says the saree will look good on Ashi. Ramila says she cannot take the saree like that and they will pay for it. Mithila says the price is Rs. 50000. Ramila is shocked and says she did not bring her checkbook. Meenal says Mithila is joking and it is a gift from them to Ashi. Meenal says maybe this saree was meant for Ashi only.
Saksham tells Gopika that it was nice to meet her. Gopika does not know what to say, but Ramila handles the situation. At home, Gopika looks at the saree and thinks about Saksham. Ramila says these are such expensive gifts and she will keep them safely with her. Gopika says she will keep the saree safely and keeps it in her trunk. Mithila calls to say good night to Gopika and sees Ramila and Ashi holding the gifts. Ramila says she was keeping all the stuff safely. Mithila says Gopika will bring everything with her anyway and she remembers everything. She asks them to prepare Gopika well for “SANGEET” function the next day. Ramila scolds Hiten for not warning them about Mithila’s call.
Gopika asks Ashi what should she answer for “nice to meet you”. Ashi tells Ramila what if they come to know what a loser Gopika is. Ramila says they will have to take care till Chirag chooses her.
Gopika is getting ready for the engagement. She says she does not know what Saksham likes or dislikes. She decides to ask Ashi. Ramila tells Ashi to persuade Chirag for marriage and they look at a magazine article for it. Ramila asks Ashi to give him some gifts. Ashi says he likes branded shoes. Ramila asks her not to talk about shoes. Ramila reads the next point which says you must make him feel that you want to spend your life with him. Gopika hears this and thinks she will do everything to win Saksham’s heart.
Ba says she is keeping some space in the album for his wedding and kid’s pics. Saksham says some space should remain empty. Mithila assures Ba that her album will not remain empty and they will put engagement pics in it. Mithila tells Saksham that Gopika is a modern girl and they suit each other perfectly.
