At the beginning of the episode, Mata Rani’s crown is about to fall but Gopika supports it. Gopika tells Saksham about her knowledge of diamonds. Saksham and Chirag are surprised that she knows so much.
Mithila tells Uma to wash her hands with GANGAJAL and then light the DIYA for Devi Ma. Uma tells her daughter-in-law to win this time. Mithila tells Gopika to protect the DIYA like she would protect her new family. She says she knows Gopika is fasting and it is very difficult.
Ashi says she can win this competition easily and she is used to doing household work all night. Ramila says their aim is to bring her truth out. She put GANGAJAL in a similar bottle as a chemical. She says when she uses the wrong bottle, Mithila and others will come to know that she does not know English.
Uma tells Mithila not to cheat this time like the previous round. She says Gopika used a live ASUR against the rules. Mithila says decoration means thinking out of the box. Meenal and Ba tell Mithila not to talk to Uma. Ba tells her not to worry about winning too much, as education and challenge is not everything. Mithila says her aim was to bring an educated and brave wife for Saksham. She says Gopika has every quality she wanted. Ba remembers what Gopika told her and thinks Gopika is the opposite of what Mithila wanted. Ba prays to Devi Ma to give her some sign or else she will have to tell Mithila the truth.
Ramila and Ashi come to Gopika. They tell her not to sleep. Gopika tells that Ramila used to poke her with a hairpin every time she slept, so she is using the same. Ramila tells her not to tell this to anyone. Gopika says she has to win this competition for her family. Ashi exchanges the bottle of GANGAJAL with the chemical. Gopika becomes emotional that she is thankful to this family. Ashi and Ramila go from there.
Gopika and others keep the DIYA alight. Saksham comes to Gopika. He brings juice for her. Gopika thanks him. He sees all the others have shawls while Gopika doesn’t. He says he will bring a blanket for her, but Gopika says she does not need it. He gives his jacket to Gopika.
All the other BAHUS doze off at night, but Gopika stays awake. She thinks that all DIYAS are for Devi ma and she should not let them extinguish too. Ba and Mithila reach the PANDAL. Ba is about to tell Mithila the truth when Uma says Gopika is disqualified. Uma says Gopika is near Chitranshi’s DIYA which is against the rules. Mithila asks her what she is doing there. Gopika says she saw that everyone was dozing off and the oil was finishing too, so she did not want their DIYAs to extinguish.
Uma says whatever is the reason, the rules are clear. Other BAHUS say that Gopika has a large heart and she is the real winner. Judges say that nothing matters in front of what Gopika has done and she is the winner. She says Gopika will light MATA Rani’s DIYA. Mithila is very pleased and blesses Gopika. Ramila says now Gopika’s truth will come out.
