Television actor Tushar Chawla is currently a part of the show Aggar Tum Na Hote produced by Jatin Sethi, Mahesh Pandey and Piyush Gupta, in which he plays a doctor along with Himanshu Soni. But this is his first social drama because so far, he has only acted in mythological shows like Vighnaharta Ganesha and Paramavatar Shri Krishcostumesna. He is used to wearing heavy costumes and mouthing dialogues in perfect Hindi, so this is a new experience for him. He says “It is a good feeling to be a part of this show because it is something different from what is made these days. I come from a mythological background. Of course, that doesn’t mean that I have never auditioned for roles like these. In mythological shows, I have lifted props that weighed 10 kilos and here, one merely has to lift a pen. The costumes are light whereas when I used to remove my mytho costumes there used to be scratches all over my body,” he says.
