Vijayendra Kumeria: Winters in Mumbai are short-lived, the mornings and evenings are pleasant and I like this time of the year the most

Vijayendra Kumeria loves winters. The Aapki Nazron Ne Samjha actor says that one feels more energetic throughout the day during this season. It’s a welcome change from all the exhaustion and dehydration one faces during the summer months.

“Winters in Mumbai are short-lived. The mornings and evenings are pleasant and I like this time of the year the most. To add on to the fact that there is Christmas, the vibe during that time keeps us subconsciously happy. I love eating gaajar ka halwa during winters, it’s delicious and healthy too,” he says, adding that his preferred holiday destination during winters is Rajasthan, not just because of the weather there but also the kind of food one gets to enjoy.
People in the entertainment industry hardly get any long holidays. So how does he make up for it? “It’s true that long holidays are next to impossible. I don’t remember taking more than a five-day holiday in a decade long, but then that’s how it is. But yes, sometimes you wish you could take a long holiday with your family and don’t worry about anything and just enjoy the time with them,” he adds.
For VIjayendra, a short, two-three-day, sort of getaway means Panchgani. He loves going there especially during the monsoons. “It’s beautiful and calms your mind and body,” he says.
