At the beginning of the episode, Sirat apologizes to Kartik because of whom he had to lie to his family. Kartik tells Sirat to treat their marriage like a contract like they were going to before. Sirat says before she wasn’t going to be married to Ranveer and now she is a widower of Ranveer. Sirat says that now the media also is after their relationship. Kartik tells Sirat that they are lying but it is nothing before the lie that Narendranath has told the people. Kartik says to Sirat that he is just fulfilling the promise that you made to Ranveer and Maudi.
Manish tells the family that he didn’t expect Kartik to do what he did. He says that Kartik was upset with him, he understands but has never done anything without asking his permission. Swarna says that now they need to move past this. Gayu says that maybe they should accept her. Surekha says in sarcasm that they should cancel the plan for tomorrow and rather keep a party for Sirat. Surekha asks if Sirat will also perform ‘teej” with them.
Kairav comes to Kartik’s room and tells him that Suhasini told him that he got married to Sirat. Kairav asks if it is true. Kartik nods and is worried about Kairav’s reaction. Kairav hugs Sirat and thanks Kartik. Kairav says that finally, he has his family. He tells Sirat that Kartik always takes the right decisions. Suhasini prays to God and says if Kartik and Sirat were supposed to be together then why did he bring Ranveer in the picture. She then says to God to take care of her family. Sirat overhears her and then is about to leave the house.
She returns to Kartik’s room and tells him that she once ran away from the house without telling him but today she couldn’t take her feet outside of the house. Sirat then settles on the couch and Kartik offers a blanket. Kairav knocks at the door, then tells them that he is going to sleep in their room. He jumps on the bed and tells Kartik and Sirat that they are going to sleep on his either side like one family.
The next morning, everyone wakes up for “teej” fast. Gayu asks if she should call Sirat as well. Surekha says that this is not a genuine marriage. Suhasini says in whatever conditions Kartik got married now, she is married to him and she should perform. Manish comes and tells them that they shouldn’t worry about other people and focus on them and nothing is going to change in the “teej” function.
Sirat and Kartik get dressed, Kairav wakes up and asks what are they going to do today. Kartik says that first, he needs to go to school as Sirat would be here when he comes back and he could play with her after that. He says he totally forgot that Sirat would not leave them ever again. Kartik offers Sirat to bring breakfast. She lies that she is not hungry. Kartik says to not lie, she gives Kartik a look. Kartik says that he knows that he is lying too about their relationship but that is the right thing to do right now. He says until when she’ll taunt him.
Sirat tells him that now she would have to hear taunts of his family and he has to hear taunts of the world.
Upcoming- Suhasini asks Sirat to dress like a married wife and brings for her jewelry and dress. Sirat is shocked to see that. At the function, Kairav asks Kartik where is Sirat. Manish says if she joins in the function he wouldn’t be here with them.
