At the beginning of the episode, Abhimanyu performs the surgery and keeps making conversations with her. The junior doctor comes with the scans and Mahima asks him to read it out loud. He says that there has been excessive bleeding and her vocal cord is injured. Mahima tells Abhimanyu that he has to be extra careful as Akshu’s voice box is in danger. He says to Akshu that he won’t let her lose connection with her voice. Meanwhile, Manish and Kairav arrive at the hospital and request Harshwardhan to show them the phone in which he is watching the telecast of the surgery. Arohi says it’s tough for a normal person to see the surgery so she’ll tell them. She sees the phone and tells everyone that Akshu’s voice box is in danger and Abhimanyu is performing the surgery.
After the surgery Abhimanyu gets away from Akshu’s bed as she stops breathing. Arohi sees the surgery on the phone and becomes quiet. She breathes, and Mahima says to Abhimanyu that he did it and tells him that she is stable. Manish and Kairav ask her what happened and that she is quiet. Harshwardhan tells them that she’s fine and stable now. Abhimanyu in the operation theater sits in a corner in tears looking towards Akshu, thinking to himself why she troubles him.
Mahima tells Abhimanyu to rest and she will look after her and shift her to the ward. Meanwhile, Anand asks the Goenka’s to come towards the ward where they can see her. Manish asks Arihi to talk to Suhasini and tell her everything is fine.
Kairav outside the ward asks Anand why they let Abhimanyu operate on Akshu, he says he isn’t a doctor but Arohi is and he has heard that the doctors don’t operate on their loved ones. Mahima says from behind that it’s true that doctors don’t attend on their own but it isn’t a hard fast rule. She says that what happened to Akshu is unfortunate but the truth is Abhimanyu saved her as he’s the best doctor who could help her out.
Abhimanyu rushes in front of Mahadev’s idol. He sits on his knees and says to the God to not trouble him like this, he says if there is someone’s death in his life let it be his and not Akshu’s as he would die anyway. He sees Akshu taken to the ward and rushes to hold her hand. He reaches her ward and tells the nurse to leave as he will look after her.
Neil watches them through the window and sees him being extra sensitive and says to himself that it’s rare to have a love like them as Abhimanyu is enduring the pain equally seeing her. Abhimanyu says to himself that he’ll go and get a painkiller. Manish and Kairav with Arohi enter the ward and he tells them that Akshu will be fine by tomorrow.
Upcoming- Akshu wakes and says to Arohi that before the accident she asked her question that she didn’t reply to, so she wants the truth. Later, Akshu hears Arohi’s conversation with someone about the exams and contemplates her decision of leaving Abhimanyu for Arohi’s sake.
