At the beginning of the episode, The ladies dance together to the folk song. Suhasini says to Swarna that Kartik and Sirat were destined to be together as. Kairav asks Kartik to let him swing along with Sirat, Suhasini hands Akshara to Sirat. Suhasini tells everyone that they have to perform one last ritual of the women, wearing jewelry they brought from their maternal home. Sirat gets emotional and goes somewhere alone. Suhasini goes to see her and gives her jewelry and tells her that Maudi touched this jewelry. They hear some noises from outside.
The media has gathered outside the house. The media screams to send Kartik and Sirat outside.
The media people are shouting that they can’t hide Sirat and Kartik’s relationship from the media. Manish tells Kartik that why is he not responding just like he does to the family every time. Manish says that finally, everyone forgot they were connected to this case and Kartik brought her back.
Suhasini says they should support Sirat as well as she trusts Sirat is not guilty. Suhasini says that before they were only fighting for Kartik and now they will also fight for Sirat. Manish says why we should fight for Sirat. Kartik says at times of crisis family helps each other and Sirat is also family to them now. Manish says he doesn’t believe in this forced relationship.
Manish announces that he and Swarna will leave the house if she continues to stay. Surekha says if Manish and Swarna leave she and Akhilesh will also leave the house and go somewhere where there was no media attention. Kartik says they need to be strong as a family and support each other. Manish says that from now on Kartik is going to be the head of the family and decisions will be taken by him.
Everyone leaves Kartik and Sirat alone in the hall. Sirat is not able to breathe so she goes outside from the back door. One of the media people sees her and runs towards her. She is surrounded by the media. Narendranath sees the TV and says that now she is caught between, they will not leave her. The media questions Sirat’s character and Kartik’s character and questions the Goenka family’s intentions.
Sirat gets angry at their absurd questions and asks them to shut up. Sirat gives answers to all of the questions and tells them that Kartik is innocent and the Goenka family helped her into the family cause of humanity. She further says that if that’s a crime then call them criminals. She tells them that she wasn’t able to attend two hearings because of a personal problem so they declared her to be a criminal. She then challenges the media that she will prove herself and Kartik innocent and if she fails she will ask for punishment.
Upcoming- Sirat prays in front of the family that they give her some time to restore their respect back as she would prove her innocence. Kairav hears Kartik and Sirat talk about fake marriage.
