In the beginning of the episode, Manjuri arrives at the hospital and tells Akshu that she is here as Harshwardhan needs her. Akshu says to Manjuri that marriage isn’t a relationship of needs and she should not always give in as she doesn’t receive love or respect out of it, Abhimanyu comes there and stops Manjuri from publicly giving forgiveness to Harshwardhan. Harshwardhan comes home and in his room throws the papers of resignation on Manjuri, and says to her that she couldn’t even do a simple favor on him. He says to her that he’ll end this relationship. Abhimanyu comes to their room, he says that it won’t happen, and picks Manjuri. Abhimanyu says to Harshwardhan that he will not leave his mother.
Abhimanyu says that Manjuri will be the one to divorce him. The family gets shocked. He says that Manjuri should have done this long ago but now she will do it. He holds Manjuri’s hand to take her out of the room, Manjuri holds Harshwardhan’s hand. Akshu remembers Manjuri telling her that her life is nothing without Harshwardhan and she doesn’t want to have a life without him. Abhimanyu says to Manjuri that she has never heard him, but today she has to and today removes her hand from Harshwardhan’s. Manjuri looks at Akshu, Abhimanyu takes Manjuri to a room and sings to put her to sleep. Meanwhile, Neil brings water for Harshwardhan and gives the glass to Anand, and leaves. Mahima says to Harshwardhan that this is not an age to get divorced.
Akshu comes to the room and sees Manjuri in pain, holds Abhimanyu’s hand, and drags him out of the house to the garden. She says to him that he is wrong to take a decision on behalf of Manjuri, he says to her that she wants her mother to be in a toxic relationship. She says that’s not what Manjuri wants, she sees Manjuri’s pain and wants her to take the decision and leave from there. Harshwardhan overhears the conversation.
The family comes to Abhimanyu and tries to calm him down and say that he is wrong to make the decision. Anand says to Abhimanyu that he has taken Harshwardhan’s place in the hospital and is now taking Harshwardhan’s wife from him, which makes him so helpless. Abhimanyu asks the family why they are not supporting Manjuri who has spent all her life taking care of them. Akshu gives Abhimanyu an example and says to him that he cannot make a decision for Manjuri as his son, which she has to take as a wife.
Later, Akshu brings tea for Abhimanyu and tells him that she doesn’t agree with him, but that doesn’t mean she is against him. Akshu comes down and Harshwardhan stops her, he says thanks to her for supporting him and says today she proved him wrong by handling things so maturely. She stops him and says she isn’t on his side, she spoke for Manjuri. Akshh says to Harshwardhan to open his eyes as he has never given love to his wife who has always been with him and has two sons who are both in pain.
Upcoming- Abhimanyu comes to check on Akshu when she sleeps, and she hugs him. Akshu brings Manjuri down, and Abhimanyu gives Manjuri the divorce papers to sign. She throws the papers and says that she doesn’t want a divorce, and Abhimanyu leaves without saying anything.
