Mishap with Abhira
In the beginning of the episode, Armaan asks Krish to check the timer again as Dadi Sa can’t be defeated. Krish says that he checked but Abhira won by a big gap, the guests tell DadiSa that she has someone of her competition now, Vidya says the children take blessings from orders not compete. Vidya says in the next ritual they will have to share food from the same plate. Rohit and Ruhi complete the ritual, but Abhira refuses to eat from the same plate and says she only shared food with her mother. Dadi Sa asks her if she considers her mother above her husband, Abhira says a mother’s position is even above god.
Dadi Sa asks Armaan to ask Abhira to quietly eat the sweet, Abhira says that she doesn’t sleep quietly and this is a matter of eating someone’s leftovers. Dadi Sa says that it’s the rituals of theirs, Abhira says to her that the rituals should also change with time. Dadi Sa says to her that people come back to their rituals. Abhira says that it’s the beauty of their culture that with time they adapt and grow. The guests question Abhira’s manners, Armaan says that he doesn’t want to force Abhira and Dadi Sa gets upset at Armaan for defying her.
Abhira is stressed while thinking of Akhsu and her education to her, and her sister-in-laws come and say they agree with her speech on eating husband’s leftovers and ask her to come along for the dance. Charu takes her plate and says she’ll care for it, Abhira helps her sister-in-law when her outfit malfunctions by fixing it with her saree safety pin. Armaan thanks Ruhi for bringing Abhira down from her room and says now he thinks he shouldn’t have asked Abhira to come down. Ruhi says to him that he can’t hide Abhira for the whole year in the room.
Ruhi says to Armaan that with time Abhira will adjust with the family and they will accept her. Armaan asks Ruhi if she is fine, Rohit comes and says to Armaan that it’s not fair that he asked him earlier to take care of Ruhi and now asking Ruhi if she is fine. Armaan says to him he asked for his happiness only as a happy wife makes a happy life. Charu brings the plate and Armaan eats from it and she cheers that the ritual is completed.
Ruhi and Abhira do the traditional ghoomar dance amongst the celebration. Abhira’s saree falls open while Armaan helps her, Dadi Sa screams at her and the guests whisper. The family asks guests tk leave, Dadi Sa says that Abhira brought disgrace upon their family and scolds Vidya for suggesting to do the muh dikhayi.
Upcoming- Dadi Sa says to Abhira that her mother taught her nothing even tk tie a saree. Abhira says that her mother taught her all the life skills to be an independent person.
