The Thursday episode of Rajan Shahi’s “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai” started with Abhimanyu and Akshara calling their families to the hospital. Once they reach, they inform them that they have decided to postpone the wedding considering Manjari’s condition. Harshvardhan agrees to them and tells them that it will be the right thing to do since Manjari is the one who takes care of such important occasions and without her it will be incomplete. Aanand and Mahima too agree with him.
However, Suhasini tells them that she doesn’t think it will be a good idea. She tells them that Abhimanyu and Akshara have already faced a lot of problems and she feels postponing their wedding will create more issues. But the Birlas are not ready to listen to them. Harshvardhan says that they just want to get rid of Akshara’s responsibility and that’s why they want the wedding to happen soon. Abhimanyun tries to stop him but Aanand asks him that the elders of the family will decide on such matters. Manish tells Akshara the same thing. Just then Akshara sees the time 11:11 and wishes the argument between the two families to end soon.
A nurse then comes to Abhimanyu and tells him that Manjari has regained consciousness and is asking for him. Abhimanyu goes to her and checks her vitals. She then tells him that while going to the temple she went to pick some fodder and saw that Akshara and Abhimanyu’s engagement is happening and she is not there. Abhimanyu then tells her that they have decided to postpone the wedding till she gets better. Manjari tells him that she wants the engagement to happen and even though she won’t be there, her blessings will always be with them.
Meanwhile, the police came to where the families were. Aarohi gets shocked seeing them there. They tell the Birlas that Abhimanyu has called him. Abhimanyu comes there and tells them that Manjari wants their engagement to happen. He then apologises to the police officer for his behaviour and requests him to find out the person responsible for his mother’s condition. Akshara then sees a scared Aarohi and asks her what happened. Abhimanyu asks her if she has done something wrong again. Akshara tells him that Manjari’s condition must have reminded her of Sirat. She consoles her. The Goenkas then tell the Birlas that they need not worry about the arrangements as they will take care of everything.
At home, the Goenkas start preparing for the engagement. Akshara gets jealous of the family thinking about Abhimanyu and not her. She then tells them that she has an idea about welcoming Abhimanyu.
In the upcoming episodes, we will see that Anupamaa is teaching dance steps to Akshara and Abhimanyu. Abhimanyu then asks Akshara why she is not wearing Naira’s earrings, Akshara tells him that she couldn’t find them to which Abhimanyu asks her if Aarohi took it on purpose. Akshara asks him to not doubt Aarohi. Anupamaa overhears their conversation and tells them that they shouldn’t be arguing, but they should enjoy each and every moment leading to their wedding.
