Star Plus’s longest and most popular running show Yeh Rishta Kya Khelata Hai has managed to keep the viewers hooked to the story over the years and currently entertaining the viewers with Kartik and Sirat’s storyline.
In last week’s episode we saw, At goenka house, Suhasini’s friends tell Sirat that they are here to meet her and she should be always dressed up well as she is a newly married woman and she should wear sarees and jewellery all the time. Sairat asks them if they want anything and Suhasini tells her that they would like to have tea as she had praised it very much and request her to make a kachori as well. Suvarna asks if she had to go somewhere else. Suhasini asks Sirat if it’s true. Sirat says that she would first serve them. Sirat serves tea and kachori and everyone praises her and tells her that it is made just like Naira. Kairav and Golu come and they also praise the kachori. Kartik comes home and sees Sirat doing household chores and gets furious and go straight to his room. Sirat explains him that she got hold up at home. Kartik says he doesn’t want to discuss it any further.
Sirat goes to Gayus room to speak to her about Marriage proposal. She sees Gayu upset and ask her what happened? Gayu tells her that it was tough for them in the beginning and now they have adjusted to it. Sirat then ask her how she is doing? Gayu tells her that she is focusing on Making her kids life and she doesn’t want anything for herself and her second chance with Samar also failed. Sirat in the kitchen tells Gayu that everyone wants her to get married and be happy. Gayu sees Suvarna and Suhasini standing in kitchen gate and agrees to meet the guy. Suhasini and Suvarna prays Sirat in front of Manish. Manish is not impressed.
Sirat get worried hearing Vansh’s concerns for Gayu’s marriage. In the car Gayu asks Sirat where are they going. Sirat tells her that she is taking him to meet Sorav who’s proposal has come for her. Gayu asks the car to stop. She asks Sirat that why she is showing urgency when she told her that she wants time to think about this relation. Sirat tells her that she also wants her to take her time but Suhasini has called the family tomorrow and she wants her to take the decision free willingly. When they return back home. Kartik is leaving for office. Kartik tells Gayu that he wants her to be happy and today where she is standing, he stood. He says that during that phase Gayu supported him and now he wants to do the same. Manish screams at Sirat for taking Gayu to meet the guy. Gayu leaves the house with kids
Sirat sees the cab cross and follows it. The cab driver stops the car in some place distant and quite and asks Gayu to give all the jewellery and money with her or he’ll kill her kids. Gayu gets scared and starts taking off her jewellery. Sirat punches the cab driver and saves Gayu from the cab driver. Kartik arrives at the scene and asks Gayu why did she leave the house? Gayu tells him that Sirat took her without her permission to meet the guy, even when she told her that she didn’t want to go and didn’t feel nice. Kartik asks her how long she knew him and did she really think that he would let anything happen without her consent. Sirat apologizes to her for not understanding the situation. Kartik thanks her for remembering his and Kairav’s birthday. She thinks to herself that she will make the birthday a memorable one.
Kairav gets excited to for his birthday where Sirat told everyone that she will do every arrangements. Kartik says to Sawarna that he doesn’t want to involve Sirat in all this. He wants to let her do her practice where Sirat heard everything and feels bad for herself. Manish said that Naira manages everything but Sirat can’t do everything at once. Sirat requests Kartik for let her do this arrangement for them. Kartik agrees with Sirat and asks her to be happy and asks her to start preparation. Kartik says that he does not want to mix her in all this and wants her to prove herself in boxing. Kartik says that she can do anything and asks her to promise that she will not leave her boxing campaign.
Kartik waits for her in his office and tells the federation to complete the setup as Sirat is arriving. Sirat on call tells Kartik that she is on her way. While she is at the orphanage to get Kairav’s gifts. She has to wait for authority as they need special permission to send the kids from the orphanage to Kairav’s birthday. She gets late for the campaign as the people leave. Sirat falls and starts crying. Kartik goes to help her, she tells him that she struggled to get Kairav’s birthday cake. Kartik asks her who is she trying to be with the dress and the heels, as he has never seen so uncomfortable and yet she is looking for validation. She tells him that she wants to be like Naira. She turns to Manish and say that he was right, she has Naira’s looks but she is nothing like her. Kartik says that she cannot become Naira. Sirat feels bad.
Will Kartik be able to help Sirat get back her identity?
