Star Plus’s longest and most popular running show Yeh Rishta Kya Khelata Hai has managed to keep the viewers hooked to the story over the years and currently entertaining the viewers with Kartik and Sirat’s storyline.
In last week’s episode we saw, Sirat reaches home and the family celebrates her, she asks why they are celebrating. The coach tells Sirat that before leaving the ring the punch is made to knock the opponent. Kartik says that she qualified for asian championship. Suvarna says to Suhasini that they should make a donation as both Kartik recovered and Sirat won the championship. Sirat says to Kartik that now he doesn’t have a reason to be angry at her, he says that now he doesn’t have a reason but she should not give him again. Sirat comes to her room and sees a gift from Kartik. He says to her to open it and she finds gloves inside them. Kartik and Sirat then spend some romantic moments.
Suvarna and Suhasini try to calm her down and tell her that she is overreacting, but she fumes at them as well for supporting Sirat instead of her. Surekha says to them that Sirat is of no class and somehow managed to marry rich and now living her best life, she says sooner or later her true colours like her mother would come out and then the whole family will regret. She says to everyone that they should be upset with her as her mother tried to steal Suhasini’s bangles and her stepfather hurt Kartik so badly that he needed an operation. Suvarna says none of that was Sirat’s fault. Surekha storms away from there upset. Kartik hears the screams and wakes up and wonders who it is.
Interviewers one by one interview the whole family and when they question Surekha, Kartik diverted them by asking Sirat to take them to her home gym. Kartik after Sirat leaves asks Surekha what happened between her and Sirat. Surekha says everyone is busy entertaining Sirat and he should also ask her wife as everyone will only blame her. An interviewer notices the family photo and asks them to the other family members. When she introduces Luv and Kush to them, they identify them from their girl abuse incident. Luv and Kush call the family crying and upset and tell them about the news running by the media after the interview and the family gets angry at Sirat. Manish and Akhilesh go to Luv and Kush’s boarding school to sort things out.
Suvarna gives Sirat an envelope, she tells them that the envelope has come from the laboratory of her blood tests. She reads the report and gets disbalanced and tells everyone that the report says that she takes steroids and is disqualified from the competition. Sirat tells everyone about the tampering, she asks Gayu if she remembers someone else around the pharmacy. Gayu looks towards Surekha and Suvarna too. They blame Surekha as she was the one who got the medicine from the pharmacy, Sirat tries to defend Surekha but she refuses Sirat’s help. Surekha says to everyone that she is disappointed by how they easily blamed her for such a cheap incident.
Kartik thanks her for trusting Surekha, Sirat says she is also her family. They go and talk to the pharmacist and threaten him to give the CCTV footage and they are shocked to see the footage. Sirat and Kartik bring the footage home and the whole family sees the footage. They see that Mukesh was the one who spiked the medicine. Suvarna and Suhasini feel guilty and say how they are going to convince Surekha to forgive them. Kartik comes and tells Sirat that the police have said that Mukesh will be arrested and she needs to appear for another blood test for drug traces. Kartik asks her to eat something as Karwa Chauth comes every year and asian championship comes once every few years. Sirat says she will continue her fast and win the matches.
Kartik asks Sirat to stand and fight the match. Surekha arrives at the gym with Suvarna and cheers for Sirat. After hearing the whole family cheering together, she stands and gets ready for the round. She fights the round. The whole family gets worried as Sirat observes fast and yet is fighting. Kartik asks Sirat to hydrate herself, but Sirat says she’ll manage and win. The last round starts and Sirat knocks her opponent out and everyone cheers for her. Kartik and Sirat call Vansh and Kairav for dinner. Seeing the whole family together, Sirat suggests taking a family picture. When Kartik looks inside the stroller he asks who’s the other kid, Sirat is shocked to see Arohi missing and some other child in the stroller.
