Star Plus’s longest and most popular running show Yeh Rishta Kya Khelata Hai has managed to keep the viewers hooked to the story over the years and currently entertaining the viewers with Kartik and Sirat’s storyline.
In last week’s episode we saw, Sirat says to the media that to store their questions for a week as all of them will be answered within it. Narendranath sees the news and says that Sirat won’t be able to clear her name. She leaves the media stunt and enters the house from the main entrance. Sirat prays in front of the family that they give her some time to restore their respect back as she would prove her innocence. Sirat says that she now understands why Kartik wanted her to prove her innocence. Manish without responding to her plea leaves. Kairav hears Kartik and Sirat talk about the fake marriage. Sirat tells him that he heard the right thing that their marriage isn’t true. Kairav tells Sirat that Naira used to tell him that people lie only when they are in dire need of. Sirat tells him that his mother was right, they didn’t have a way out. Kairav understands the situation and promises that he won’t force her to stay back even though he wants her to. Kartik hears their conversation and is proud of Kairav.
Kartik opens a box with Sirat’s boxing gears. At the same time, Sirat comes inside the room.Kartik tells Sirat that the doctor is the person to be blamed for Sirat’s losses. Kartik gives Sirat boxing gloves she puts it on Kartik then pumps with words that would motivate her to prove her innocence. Kartik tells her that she has to win both the case and match. Sirat asks him what match. Kartik tells her that he has registered her for the state championship. Sirat hugs Kartik and thanks him for supporting her and going out of their way to help with the career.
Suhasini tells the married couples that they should tie around a mangalsutra, their partner as it is an auspicious day to strengthen their relationship. Kartik then tells Suhasini that they need to leave early as Sirat has her boxing practices. At the training centre the manager refuses to let Sirat train as he says that she is a criminal.
Mukesk tells her that he is giving an opportunity to have a trainer or she will become like the person who is punching the bag relentlessly. He tells her she will become useless. When Sirat and Kartik arrive in the house they see that nobody has performed the ritual and are waiting for them. Kartik asks Suhasini why did they not perform the ritual without them. Suhasini tells him that she talked to the pandit and he said that they could follow the ritual till evening and she wanted everyone to do it together. Suhasini asks Kartik to put mangalsutra. Kartik picks the mangalsutra and Sirat gets worried. Karthik moves his hand towards Sirat’s neck and the mangalsutra breaks. Suhasini says it’s a bad omen. Kartik tells her that it would have been a bad omen if he would have put the mangalsutra around Sirat’s neck and it would have broken but it wasn’t around Sirat’s neck so it is not a bad omen. A staff comes, and tells Sirat and Kartik that somebody is waiting for them in the lounge. Sikander Singh, the same boxer Mukesh was talking about in the boxing ring, came to speak to Sirat and offers her to be her coach.
Sirat asks him to do a match with her and then she will decide. He teaches Sirat some useful lessons while fighting and she gets impressed by him.
Kartik and Sirat go to meet the doctor. They ask the doctor about the false report. The doctor pretends that he doesn’t know about it and tells them that he was out of the country and has returned now and he will try to find the truth and inform them. After, Kartik and Naira leave his office. Doctor calls Narendranath and informs him that Kartik and Sirat came to his office and asked about the false report. The doctor tells Narendranath that he has to give him something and needs to meet him. Narendranath ask him to come and meet tomorrow. Sirat goes to bring Naksh for the Raksha Bandhan function as he is upset with Kartik. Naksh asks Sirat to leave the cabin as he is very angry and it wouldn’t be right if he gets angry at her. Sirat holds his hand and is about to tie Rakhi on it. Naksh warns her to not tie Rakhi as he doesn’t know how he would react. Sirat tells him that she still has the right to tie Rakhi on his wrist as she is not married to Kartik.
Sirat says after Kairav’s support they have become stronger. Sirat asks Kirti and Naksh to go to goenka house. Sirat asks them to support her and Kartik in the plan and not tell the family yet about the truth. Kartik asks Suvarna about Sirat’s whereabouts. Swarna tells Kartik that Sirat went somewhere telling them that she has some important work to do. Kartik calls Sirat and asks her where she is. Sirat tells him that she is at Narendranath’s house. Kartik says why did she go there alone. Sirat tells him that she has to give something to Ranveer’s sister on behalf of Ranveer. While leaving, Sirat sees Narendranath’s car arrive and the doctor in it. She hides in the bush and hears their conversation. The doctor gives the original report to Narendranath and informs him that he has destroyed every other report from the system. Kartik holds Sirat’s hand when she is about to go and confront Narendranath. Kartik tells her that they need a plan and sneak into the house and get the paper as Narendranath wouldn’t just give it to her.
Narendranath goes into his office and looks for a lighter. When he doesn’t find one he goes outside the office and calls for Saroj to help him. Kartik and Naira sneak inside the office. They find the report on the desk. They hear Narendranath’s footsteps and get scared that they would be busted. Naksh and Kirti arrive at Goenka house for Raksha Bandhan celebration.
Kartik and Sirat hide from Narendranath in his office. Sirat makes a sound when she sees Narendranath burning the report. Kartik tells her that he has the original report as he placed the wrong report at the desk.
Narendranath gets suspicious and looks around the office. Kartik and Sirat get stressed. Kartik gets a message from Manish. Everyone at Goenka house is getting impatient and Manish tells everyone that Kartik knows that everyone is waiting for him and yet he is late. Kartik texts back Manish. Narendranath hears some noise from downstairs when he was about to check behind where Kartik and Sirat were hiding. Manish and Akhilesh show up at Narendranath house to divert his attention so that Kartik and Sirat can escape. Back at Goenka house everyone is happy to see that Sirat and Kartik found the real death certificate. Suhasini says that she wishes after the court hearing Kartik and Sirat gets married once again in front of the whole world.
