In the beginning of the episode, Kartik tells Suhasini that if he does what they are asking won’t prove his innocence. But it will prove that he is a coward. Suhasini asks him that if he is going against the family. Kartik tells her that supporting his friend doesn’t mean he’ll be against his family. He tells her that he’ll do what’s best for his family and Sirat. Next morning, Kartik prays to God that his plan is successful. Swarna asks him to also take Manish’s blessings. He tells her that Manish won’t be able to bless him for what he is going to do now. Maudi’s health is worsening.
Kartik sneaks into his car without the reporters knowing. But when he drives he notices a reporter with a camera on mirror. He leaves his car and sneaks out to go to jail. When he waits for Sirat in the waiting room in the police station he notices the reporters again and hides behind the cupboard. The constable goes to bring Sirat from her cube and asks her if Kartik is her lover who she killed Ranveer with. When they arrive at the waiting room, Sirat notices Kartik behind the cupboard who just shows her to be strong. Manisha asks Swarna where Kartik is as the lawyer wants to speak to him. Swarna lies for Kartik and says that he is asleep. Sirat when returns to her cube, the other people in it pass comments on her she decides that if Kartik is not giving up on her she needs to fight back and she shuts them down.
Manish and other family members go to Maudi’s room to see her. Maudi is continuously mumbling Sirat’s name. Manish tells Swarna that the doctor has advised that Maudi sleeps. Gayu informs them that even after taking sleeping pills she is not sleeping. Everyone worries as her condition is worsening. When Kartik returns from the police station he gets a call from Aradhana. She introduces herself to Kartik. Kartik tells her that she is the one who’s spreading fake stories about Sirat. Aradhana asks Kartik to make an appearance on her show as it would benefit him and her. She tells Kartik that he would be able to clear his image and she would get her story. Kartik informs her that he would never make an appearance on her channel.
Karthik goes to Maudi’s room and comforts her and promises her that he will get Sirat out of jail and safeguard his family’s name. Then he helps her to go to sleep. Kartik gets a call from the doctor who tells him that Maudi is serious as her age and her condition is not right at the time. Sirat convinces the constable to let her make a call. She calls Kartik and asks him about Maudi’s health. Kartik tells her that Maudi has just fallen asleep if she wants he could wake her up but the doctor suggests otherwise. Sirat tells Kartik that she is getting worried as she thinks something very bad is going to happen. Kirti and Naksh come to Goenka house and upon Manish’s asking tell him that some kids were teasing and fighting in the school when their kid supported Kartik. Then Kartik notices Kairav on a phone call where his seniors are ragging him with questions about Sirat and Kartik relationship. He gets worried as kids are suffering.
Upcoming- Kartik agrees to make a media appearance. He sits with Aradhana for an interview. Kartik tells that Kairav used to think that Sirat was her mother as her face looks like Naira. Aradhana asks Kartik if he fell for her thinking she is his wife.
