Star Plus’s longest and most popular running show Yeh Rishta Kya Khelata Hai has managed to keep the viewers hooked to the story over the years and currently entertaining the viewers with Kartik and Sirat’s storyline.
In last week’s episode we saw, Sirat says her goodbye’s to Kairav and Akshu while they are sleeping. Kartik holds her bag and both of them without saying anything to each other, speak to each other. She gets inside the taxi leaving Kartik at the door. Kartik sits outside the house on the stairs. Kairav sees Sirat coming and informs him. Sirat comes and asks Kartik and Kairav if they’re fine. The whole family comes outside and sees Sirat there and in sarcasm ask her why did she return. Sirat tells him about the nightmare. Kartik doesn’t stop her when she goes towards the taxi. Everyone in the family tells him to follow her as she doesn’t want to leave. She sees Kartik dressed as the driver. Kartik asks her if she is in love with him why is she leaving. She says she doesn’t want him to be in any trouble because of her and fight with his family.
Sirat in middle of the road proposes Kartik for marriage and tells him she is in love with him. She tells him that she loves him and she wants to marry him and spend her life with him. The give the news to the family. Suhasini calls the pandit and asks him for a date. She gets off the phone worried. She tells everyone that tomorrow is a prosperous date for marriage and after that they will find a date 3-4 months later. Everyone prepares for the wedding, Kartik goes to Manish’s room to take help from him to tie the turban. He tells Manish that he knows he is not happy with his wedding. He says he can find his happiness in Kartik’s. Swarna goes to bring Sirat down for the rituals and sees her feeding Akshu food.
Sirat comes down with Kairav and Swarna. Everyone praises the way Sirat looks. Kartik asks them what is the batch that Sirat is wearing. Swarna tells everyone that Akshu spoilt Sirat’s dress so Kairav made her a batch saying Goenka rocks. Sheila comes there and says that it’s better that the pandit took time as she could be here. Shila tries to extort Manish. Manish tells everyone that he thinks Sirat is not the right person for this house. Sirat hears them and stumbles upon a vase. Kartik comes out of the room and tells Sheila that he is not happy but she is here and caused trouble for his family and Sirat but at the same time she is Sirat’s mom and she needs money he will provide her.
Suvarna thanks Sirat for not revealing to Kartik about Manish. Suhasini says that Sirat by not revealing the truth about Manish not wanting Kartik and Sirat to get married, she saved their relationship. Sirat tells them that she is not upset with Manish as he was right in his place and he was just thinking about Kartik. Suhasini says no matter what people say she believes that she is the right fit for the family. Kartik and lands it on his neck. Kartik and Sirat perform the rituals and give each other personalized vows for the wedding.
Sirat tells Sheila to not ever come back to her house. Further tells Sheila to never even think about interfering in her family matters and stay away from her family. While giving the Thali Sheila tells Sirat that she is just taking over Naira’s family and she is nobody in compared of Naira. Sheila says that everybody here knows what Naira’s place is in the family and how she is with Kartik and he would never be able to give Sirat the same love. She tells her that she would never be able to become Akshu’s and Kairav’s mother. Sirat keeps thinking about Sheila’s words and drops all the plates.
Kartik and Sirat pack for the trip, everyone suggests them to leave the kids behind so that they can enjoy. Sirat tells them that she won’t be able to enjoy without the kids
Kartik and Sirat enjoy with the kids as a family at the resort. Kartik and Sirat dance and share a romantic moment. Sirat cannot brush away the things that Sheila has told her about Naira’s place in the house and in Kartik’s life. Manish tells Suvarna that he is not able to forget all that has happened and about Sirat’s family history. He says he doesn’t think Sirat can take Naira’s position in the family.Next morning, Kartik goes to the kids room and sees Sirat getting Kairav ready for school and at same time feeding Akshu. Kartik tells her that family is their joint responsibility and boxing is the thing only she can do and she shouldn’t ignore it.
Kartik tells her they should not compare Sirat with Naira ever as it would put her under pressure. He says both Naira and Sirat are two different people.
