Star Plus’s longest and most popular running show Yeh Rishta Kya Khelata Hai has managed to keep the viewers hooked to the story over the years and currently entertaining the viewers with Kartik and Sirat’s storyline.
In last week’s episode we saw, As soon as everyone leaves, Kairav and Sirat start dancing. Sirat goes into labour and calls out Kairav. He sees her and worries about her and says to call Kartik. Sirat tries calling him but he doesn’t connect as he is out of network reach. She tries calling Suvarna, but because of too much crowd and noise they leave their phone in their purses. Sirat asks Kairav to help her out and bring the pink bag that Kartik made and her hospital files from the drawer. She calls the doctor and asks her to come home and do her check up, the doctor says to her that Sirat should come to the hospital as there they will have facilities.Sirat finds a car and reaches the hospital and tells the nurse to call the doctor as soon as she cannot control the pain. The doctor tells him to call her husband as he needs to sign forms.
Kartik sees the missed calls and video calls Sirat. Kairav picks the call and tells him that she went into labour and she has fainted from the pain in the hospital. Kartik says to Kairav that he is reaching and till then he needs to bravely take care of them. He asks Kairav to turn the camera towards her, he tells Sirat that he is reaching and she needs to keep conscious for her baby. Kartik reaches the hospital and before Sirat goes to the operation theatre meets her and tells to keep brave. The doctor asks him to sign the consent form.
The doctor is able to regain Sirat’s consciousness. The family hears the baby crying and runs towards the operation theatre who tells them that the baby needs to be kept in an incubator. Kairav asks the nurse if it’s a baby girl or boy. she tells him that God granted him his wish, it’s a baby girl. Everyone is happy to hear the gender of the baby. Kairav says to Akshu that the baby is moving after they gave her the blessed thread. Kartik hears that and is shocked. Next morning, The doctor brings the baby and tells them that they have runned all the tests and the baby is fine. Everyone the next morning welcomes Sirat and the baby to the house. They dance together, Sirat asks Kartik about the name of the baby. He announces that he has chosen Arohi as the name for the baby. Everyone is happy with the name.
Two months later after the arrival of the baby the whole time of Kartik and Sirat gets consumed in taking care of Akshu and Arohi. Sirat gets both Arohi and Akshu ready for the function. Sirat’s boxing junior comes as a guest for the function at her house and tells her that there is a boxing tournament for the Asian championship. They ask her if she’ll miss the opportunity, she tells them that her daughters are young and they need her attention. Kartik hears their conversation when passing. The rituals begin and Kartik and Kairav feed Arohi the food for the first time and the whole family celebrates.
Next day Kartik brings Sirat the form for applying to the Asian championship while she is feeding the kids. Sirat asks him what is this, he tells her that she should go back to boxing as she has waited long enough and he is here to care for the kids. When Sirat is about to sign the paper, Suhasini snatches the form from her hand and tells Kartik what he is upto, as the kids need their mother. Kartik says to her he has been able to take care before and he can do it again and Sirat has a big opportunity in front of her in her career. Surekha says no matter what a kid needs their mother around. Kartik says that he doesn’t understand their objection to Sirat competing in the boxing competition. Sirat says that she has already told him that she won’t be able to leave the kids alone. Manish says if forcing a woman to stay at
Kartik then asks Kairav and Vansh to execute the plan. They call all of his friends and all of them ask Sirat questions related to boxing and Kairav shows them all of the trophies and medals and Sirat gets the flashbacks of winning it. The kids ask her to show some moves, she puts on the gloves and everything that Kartik sait to motivate her for boxing starts running in her mind. Sirat gets too emotional and goes outside and says to herself that she needs to focus on becoming a good mom. Kartik says to her to make her daughter’s her strength instead of weakness. He says he’ll support her in taking care of the kids, she tells him to bring her the form as she wants to participate in the competition.
