Star Plus’s longest and most popular running show Yeh Rishta Kya Khelata Hai has managed to keep the viewers hooked to the story over the years and currently entertaining the viewers with Kartik and Sirat and their three young kids storyline.
In last week’s episodes we saw, Sirat while remembering Kartik and romancing with his jacket burns it and Akshu makes her understand that it was just an unfortunate incident and nothing bad will happen. Akshu then shows her the gift she made for Kartik and receives praise from Sirat. Arohi feels jealous and says to Akshu that she is clever that she put stupid gift ideas in her head and played dumb and made a good gift herself for him. Sirat scolds Arohi for trying to steal Akshu’s ideas and then getting upset with her. Akshu takes Arohi side. Next day while everyone waits for Kartik’s arrival. Akhilesh sees a text on his phone and asks Surekha to put on the news.
The news reporter says that the flight from New York to Udaipur has gone missing and the chances are there has been a tragedy but the authorities haven’t yet said anything. Sirat and the family start worrying and crying. In the room Arohi says to Akshu that she will ask Kartik to take her to meet Sheila as he would never deny her wish. Akshu says that’s true. Sirat says to herself that nothing can happen to Kartik, she then asks Manish and Akhilesh to keep finding something on Kartik while she will go and visit the mandir. She says to Suvarna to take care of everything behind her and leaves for mandir. Sirat falls down the stairs and hits a wall, both Akshu and Arohi scream and are shocked.
Suvarna comes outside the house and says to Suhasini that she can understand her feelings as it has been 3 years since Akshu has been away from home. Akshu reaches home and everyone celebrates and welcomes her home. Arohi sees her and remembers Sirat’s accident. Arohi comes down the stairs and everyone is worried about her reaction. Arohi hugs Akshu and everyone takes a sigh of relief. Manish says there is time before Arohi results so he wants to talk to them. Manish says to them as after their parents it’s his responsibility to ask them about marriage, both of them say they don’t have someone in their life and if someone comes they’ll tell him.
Akshu follows Arohi outside the house and says to her that she is taking her wrong as she never wishes ill for her. Arohi says she knowingly did all of this as she cannot bear her happiness. Arohi says to her that everyone in the family loves her first, Akshu says it’s not true. Arohi says she doesn’t want to talk to her and leaves. Akshu then goes inside the temple and sings the prayer. Abhimanyu drives his bike and receives his mother’s call and tells her that he’s reaching hospital soon and his father didn’t need to complain to her. Abhimanyu’s mother talks to him about marriage, he says he is never getting married as every marriage ends up to be messed up.
Abhimanyu after ending the call hears Arohi singing and gets pulled to it. Abhimanyu looks for Akshu after hearing her sing. He follows the sound of Akshu’s voice and reaches where she was and doesn’t find her and finds her bracelet. Abhimanyu gets a call from Harshwardhan.
Abhimanyu’s mother serves dinner and asks him to sit and eat. Harshwardhan enters the house and screams Abhimanyu’s name and says that today he had to suffer disgrace because of him in the hospital. Harshwardhan further says to him that as he is always around his mother don’t just become like her. Abhimanyu gets angry at Harshwardhan.
Arohi comes to the room and sees them enjoy and then sees the picture Akshu has put up and gets angry. Akshu says to her that she knows that she is upset because of the picture she has put up but that’s the only happy picture of them together. Arohi says to her that’s the problem, she thinks it’s a happy picture but it’s not for her as that was the day she realised that even Sirat loved Akshu more than her. Akshu says it’s okay if she is angry now all her anger will vanish when they will go to the gopi festival, Arohi refuses to go. Suhasini arranges for a photoshoot and asks Arohi and Akshu to get clicked first. Akshu says she’ll do anything to make her happy if she comes with them to the gopi festival. Arohi says she was the happiest when Akshu was away from home, Akshu says she’ll leave again. Abhimanyu includes his mother in the family picture as well.
Will Abhimanyu’s presence in Akshu’s life destroy Arohi?
