At the beginning of the episode, Kartik knocks at the door and the old man asks him who he is. Kartik says he is Simran’s college friend, Raj. Sirat tries to justify Kartik’s arrival. The couple says that they don’t mind his arrival. Sirat trips and falls in Kartik’s embrace. Sirat asks Kartik why he is there. Kartik says she didn’t want to meet him, but he wished to meet her. Sirat tells Kartik that she finished everything before she came here. Kartik tells Sirat that he is here to get a job done and he won’t return before he finishes the work he is there for. The old couple sees Kartik and Sirat’s argument and says that they look just like Raj and Simran from the movie. Sirat tells the couple that Kartik is going to return back as it will get late. Kartik says that he is not going anywhere. Kartik then asks the couple if they mind him being there. The couple says that the extra seat at the dining table was maybe for him, the couple invites Kartik to join them in celebrating their special day.
They cut the cake and feed each other. The lady asks Sirat to also give Kartik cake, Kartik feeds Sirat the cake. The old couple asks them how they meet. Kartik and Sirat fabricate a story about their college life. The man then tells Kartik that he and his wife on the arrival of Sirat at their place thought that Sirat was heartbroken by a lover. The lady then tells Kartik that he looks like her lover. Both of them say that they are just friends and not lovers. The old couple says that even they lied to the world in their young days and secretly had a love affair. At Goenka’s house, Manish shows everyone the magazine, everyone gets excited and praises each other. Suhasini says she’ll organize a get-together and invite everyone they know. Surekha suggests that they wear their jewelry pieces to advertise it. Manish says it’s a good idea. He says he just wishes now their lives are not touched by Sirat.
Sirat says that she had to come from Mumbai because he was causing trouble for the people she cared for. The couple says that Sirat can never cause trouble as she is the one who takes care of them since the day she arrived at their place. Sirat then suggests Kartik to leave as it will get tough to drive at night. Kartik says he is not leaving until he takes with him what he came for. The old couple asks Kartik if he has a place to stay. Kartik says that he directly came to their house from the airport, so he will now look for lodging. The old couple offer Kartik to stay at their place, as Sirat also stays with them and both Sirat and Kartik would get a chance to catch up. The old couple takes Kartik to their son’s room and asks him to stay there as they would feel that their son has returned. They leave Kartik and Sirat alone and go. Sirat asks Kartik why he is there, as she wrote in the letter that she doesn’t want him to find her. Kartik says that he didn’t find her for the past six months. Sirat asks him what changed. Kartik tells Sirat that she didn’t show up at hearings and if she didn’t show up for the third time she would be considered a criminal. Sirat says that she is aware of that and she wouldn’t miss the third hearing. Kartik says that he would make sure that she doesn’t miss it as he would take her with him.
Upcoming- Kartik is leaving in his car. The old couple tells Sirat that she should run behind him just like in the movie Simran runs behind Raj and catches him. Sirat takes her cycle and follows Kartik.
