In last week’s episodes, Both the family’s unknowingly come to the same Makar Sankranti gathering. An announcement is made to start the celebration with kite flying and to everyone to gather together. The families come face to face with each other. Akshu and Abhimanyu get worried. Manish wishes everyone for Makar Sankranti. Harshwardhan challenges him to the kite flying competition. Akshu starts a dance and Abhimanyu joins in. They then pull the others in the family to dance to normal things between them.
Akshu notices a wire hanging loose and about to fall while she is flying the kite with Abhimanyu. She holds him and pushes him down and falls over him. While they share a moment, an old man notices them and screams at them that they are creating obscenity. Both the family’s feel embarrassed as everyone starts passing comments on them. Abhimanyu says that they will not apologize for anything as they are not at fault. Manish says wants to apologize. He says but he wants to make an announcement that after today there will be no relation between the Goenka’s and Birla’s.
Manish allows Akshu and Arohi to get to the hospital and says while returning they should resign the job. Abhimanyu meets Akshu in the hallway and takes her to his cabin. He asks her why she looks worried. Akshu gives Abhimanyu her resignation letter. He says to her that she is the best at her job and she helps people. He says to her that they will together convince the family that no matter what her career shouldn’t be sabotaged. At the same time he receives a call from a girl named Anisha, who asks for his help and says to him to meet her. He leaves Akshu in his cabin and rushes.
Kairav tells Manish about Akshu’s resignation. Arohi comes back and Manish asks her if she resigned. She says she wasn’t able to and would not as the reason she decided to become a doctor was to save lives after she saw her mother die in front of her. Akshu supports her decision. Akshu sits in her room and her guitar is about to fall. Arohi saves it from falling. She thanks her, Arohi says she doesn’t have to thank her. Arohi says to her that she doesn’t want to continue like this as she cannot take it anymore. Akshu says she understands. Arohi says she wants to start afresh, and wants to begin by forgiving her.
Harshwardhan tells everyone about Akshu’s resignation and makes fun of her qualifications. Abhimanyu goes inside the house and breaks a showpiece and says to Anand that with his blessings today he is leaving the hospital. He says to Harshwardhan that he always insults Akshu even after knowing how much she means to him. He says he will finish his surgery for today. Neil calls Akshu and tells her that Abhimanyu has left the house in anger and given his resignation and he needs her. She goes outside the hospital and sings for him, he gets pulled towards her and rests his head on her shoulder and feels relaxed.
In the office, Arohi hears Abhimanyu talk to Anisha and feels weird and calls Akshu to meet her. She tells Akshu about the call she overheard and says that she has a strong feeling that something is wrong. She says to her that she has nothing to do with Abhimanyu’s business but because she loves him, she is worried about her. Akshu says Abhimanyu isn’t like that and she doesn’t want to check on him as if he wants to tell her anything, it will be himself. Abhimanyu meets Anisha in a Cafe. Kairav sees Abhimanyu with Anisha when they hug each other. Kairav texts Akshu that he saw Abhimanyu with a girl. She says she trusts him.
