At the beginning of the episode, Rishi is on stairs. Lakshmi calls him but he says no. Lakshmi gets sad. Karishma notices them. Everyone does AARTI except Lakshmi. Rishi comes there to do AARTI with Lakshmi. Everyone is pleasantly surprised. Shalu and Ayush do AARTI together.
Neelam tells everyone to go to garden to burst crackers. Preetam talks to Rishi. Karishma tells Neelam that Rishi’s behaviour has been strange. Neelam says she liked that Rishi did AARTI because of Lakshmi. Virendra feels happy that Neelam is beginning to like Lakshmi. Karishma thinks Neelam is just pretending to be nice to Lakshmi.
Rishi admires Lakshmi as she places diyas everywhere. Lakshmi asks why he first refused to come for AARTI. Rishi says he has never done all this before. Lakshmi asks then why he came today. Rishi says because her face fell when he refused. Rishi gives her KAJAL again. Lakshmi asks why. Rishi says she is looking the best today so this is to ward off the evil eye. Shalu, Ahana and Devika come there and tease them. Lakshmi blushes and goes from there but her saree gets stuck in Rishi’s bracelet. Ayush scolds them and sends them away.
Lakshmi asks why Rishi is blushing. Rishi says he is a cool dude and does not blush. Rishi asks if there was some cool dude like him in Punjab. Lakshmi says there was one, who was 6 ft tall and everyone called him GABRU. Rishi asks if she liked him. Lakshmi says she loved him dearly. Rishi gets jealous and says why she did not marry him only. Lakshmi says he was her father. Rishi is relieved. Rishi asks if she likes someone other than her father. She says she likes his father too. He asks anyone except them. Lakshmi says him and goes away.
Ayush tells the girls to give Rishi and Lakshmi give some space. Devika tells him to say something to Shalu and Bani too. He says Bani is still a kid but she gets spoilt by Shalu’s company. Shalu and Ayush quarrel again. Shalu stamps his foot. Bani tells him to stay away as Shalu broke some boys’ hands and feet in the village.
Rishi follows Lakshmi and puts KAJAL behind her ear. Lakshmi says he never told if she is looking as good as him. Rishi says she is looking way better as she is beautiful from inside. He says she has a pure soul and no-one can match her. He says he can never match her and she married the wrong guy. Lakshmi stops him but he says she is very special and she takes away his loneliness and stress. He says he feels safe around her and smiles from heart.
Rishi tells her that something about her makes her very special. Lakshmi says she does not know if she is special or not, but he made her feel very special today. She thanks him. She gets up to put diyas in temple. Rishi says she should just tell that she does not want to talk to her. Lakshmi says she was wrong that he is better than her. Rishi follows her and they put diyas together. Lakshmi burns her hand and Rishi tell her to be careful. Virendra and Ayush feel happy to see them like this.
