At the beginning of the episode, Rishi asks Malishka why she is not talking to him. Malishka says he has changed because of Lakshmi. Rishi says he will not listen to anything about Lakshmi. Malishka says why she can’t say anything. Rishi says it is because Lakshmi is in his life only because of her. Malishka says it might be so, but he is still hers. She asks why he did not reply to her messages. Rishi says it is because he was thinking about Lakshmi not her at that time.
Virendra tells Lakshmi that her family is coming for the puja. Ayush and Virendra ask for tea from Lakshmi. Dadi also ask for tea. Virendra asks Neelam if she wants too, but she goes from there.
Rishi tells Malishka that he feels uncomfortable when Lakshmi comes near him and it is all because of her. Malishka says sorry to Rishi and tries to cajole him. Rishi tells her to trust him not doubt. He says he only loves her. They hug. Lakshmi comes to the kitchen and watches them in an embrace. She is shocked.
Rano gives a revealing dress to Neha to wear in the function. Rano tells her to get close to Ayush so that he will want to marry her. Shalu comes and tells Neha to maintain her distance as they are going for puja and she should not do anything wrong with Lakshmi. Neha says Rishi is just her JIJU just like theirs. Shalu says her eyes are on her. Neha thinks she will make Rishi her own, come what may.
Malishka opens her eyes and sees Lakshmi’s reflection in the window. She pretends that Rishi was about to fall and she supported him as he still has pain in his leg. Lakshmi asks how Rishi’s leg is. Rishi asks her not to tell Neelam. Lakshmi says this will be another one of their secrets. Lakshmi asks what he is doing in the kitchen. Rishi says he was thirsty so he came to have water. Lakshmi says Malishka is a very nice girl and cares for everyone. She says Malishka helped her during engagement and now him. She says Malishka is a means for their relationship. Rishi is uncomfortable and says he will go to rest. Lakshmi supports him and takes him to their room.
Ayush picks up Shalu’s phone and pretends to be Virendra. He tells her to have some manners and tell her name by calling someone. Virendra comes and calls Ayush from behind. Shalu understands as he disconnects. Shalu thinks she will complain to Rishi about him to teach him a lesson.
Lakshmi puts Rishi’s leg on a cushion. Rishi says he is fine, so Lakshmi says he lied to her about his pain. Lakshmi says she is his wife, so he can tell her everything. She says there should never be any secrets between them as they are husband and wife. Rishi says she takes too much care of him and it makes him embarrassed. Lakshmi smiles and says he is very cute. Rishi is puzzled but Lakshmi thinks he is just saying the opposite to what he wants. She says he is just saying so that she takes even more care of him. Rishi says it is not so, but Lakshmi stops him. Lakshmi asks if he wants tea. Rishi calls her but then says nothing. Rishi feels uneasy.
Malishka tells Karishma that Lakshmi almost caught them today. Karishma tells her to be cautious so that Lakshmi should not get suspicious. Lakshmi brings tea for Virendra and Ayush. Ayush gives her Shalu’s message. Virendra says he has never had such a good tea. Lakshmi says it because they all love her. Karishma says Malishka should do all the rituals in the puja but without arousing suspicions. Virendra wishes that Neelam should accept Lakshmi as this house’s daughter-in-law. He prays to Ganapati Bappa to make Rishi fall in love with Lakshmi.
