At the beginning of the episode, Lakshmi says Malishka is right and no-one can come between them, not even Malishka. Malishka tells Kiran that Rishi took out all his frustration on Lakshmi and all her good deeds went in vain.
Rishi hopes Malishka did not mean all that she said. He thinks Malishka must also be thinking about him. He tries to call Malishka from garden but there is network problem. He thinks what if Lakshmi’s fast breaks their relationship. A snake comes and advances towards Rishi. Rishi falls down. Lakshmi comes there and sees this. She picks up a bag from the swing and puts it on Rishi’s leg. Snake tries to bite but its head hits the bag. It goes back. Ayush also comes there and sees this.
Rishi sees that Lakshmi saved his life again. Ayush asks if he is ok. Lakshmi gives her hand to Rishi to get up, but Rishi snaps at her and tells her not to expect a thank you. Ayush asks why he is behaving like that. Lakshmi tells him that it is a matter of husband and wife. She tries to talk to Rishi. Rishi tells her to leave him alone. Lakshmi says she needs to talk to him and they will talk when he is calm and goes from there. Rishi thinks he needs to talk to Malishka.
Ayush bumps into Karishma and Dadi scolds Karishma for screaming at Ayush. Ayush tells everyone how Lakshmi saved Rishi’s life from a snake. Everyone is shocked. Neelam scolds Ayush for joking about Rishi’s life. She gets worried, but Ayush tells her that Lakshmi became Rishi’s shield again by putting the bag in between. Neelam sees Lakshmi and hugs her. She asks where Rishi is. Lakshmi says he wants to stay alone for some time. Virendra says they should not leave him alone. Neelam says she saved her son’s life on Karwachauth and she has something for her. Lakshmi says why Ayush told everyone. Virendra is emotional, so Lakshmi tells him everything is fine.
Kiran picks up Rishi’s call and he asks her to make him speak to her. Malishka says she does not want to talk to him. Rishi apologises to her and begs her to talk to him. He says he was hungry so he snapped at her. Malishka asks if he has eaten now. Malishka says this was no ordinary fight and everything is getting more complicated. Rishi asks what she wants him to do. Malishka asks Rishi to end everything with Lakshmi.
Neelam gives a necklace to Lakshmi. She says there is no need and her blessings are more precious than such jewels. Neelam asks her to keep it as it will make her happy. Virendra tells Neelam to come with him to talk. Lakshmi asks why he took her away. Ayush tells her that it is also a matter of husband and wife.
Virendra tells Neelam that she is treating Lakshmi like an employee and she rewards her for everything she does well. He says Lakshmi does not want all this. Neelam says then what she wants. Virendra says she wants their love and blessings as she is their daughter in law. Neelam says it can never happen and her real daughter in law will only be Malishka.
Neelam says he knew everything from day one, but now he cares only about Lakshmi not her. She says his feelings have changed but not her feelings. Virendra asks if she can not see how much Lakshmi loves Rishi and all of them.
Malishka asks Rishi to break his marriage. Rishi hesitates but breaks the chain, Lakshmi’s family gave to him on wedding. Lakshmi gets a bad feeling. Malishka feels happy.
