This week, Rishi drops Lakshmi home. He asks her to promise that she will not tell anyone about the attack and it will remain their secret. Rishi invites Lakshmi and her family to his birthday party the next day. Neha is upset because Rishi’s father wants Lakshmi to get married to him, but Rano says she will get Rishi back for her. Rano tells Neha to take advantage of the party to make Rishi hers. Neha says she knows what to do. Virendra introduces Lakshmi and her family to the whole family. Dadi is very happy to meet Lakshmi. Dadi introduces her daughter Karishma and granddaughters Devika and Ahana and grandson Ayush. Lakshmi feels awkward because she is wearing Indian clothes and everyone else is wearing western. Rishi comes wearing Indian clothes. Lakshmi is really touched by this gesture. Rishi asks her for dance.
Rishi asks her for his gift. Lakshmi says she did not bring anything because he has everything already. asks for a kiss which shocks Lakshmi. She thinks about what Rano said about Rishi. Rano and Lakshmi look for Preetam. Rishi calls Lakshmi but she avoids him. Lakshmi collides with a waiter and drink falls on her dress. Rishi tells her to clean it in his room and takes her along. Rano gestures her not to go.
Rishi gets down on his knees and kisses Lakshmi’s hand and says thank you. Lakshmi thinks she aways thinks wrong about Rishi but he is not like Balwinder. Rishi tells Virendra that he wants to get married to Lakshmi. Virendra asks Lakshmi if she is ready to get married to Rishi. Lakshmi nods to say yes. Rishi opens champaign and everyone drinks. Lakshmi goes away from there and says she doesn’t drink. He says everyone in his family is drinking non-alcoholic drink, as they do not drink but have to pretend for society. He tells Lakshmi this way no-one feels offended. Lakshmi thinks she has so much to learn from Rishi.
Neelam comes to know about the attack on Rishi’s car from the car mechanic. Neelam and Virendra go to Lakshmi’s house. Neelam says engagement cannot happen as Lakshmi is not as they expected and she lied to her when she asked about their date. Rano says it is too late and all their relatives are coming. She says Rishi can get engaged to Neha instead, as Lakshmi is anyway not deserving of Rishi. Rishi comes there and says she is wrong. Rishi say sorry to Neelam. He says why is she angry on Lakshmi as he made her promise not to tell anything. He asks Lakshmi why she did not tell anything to Neelam. Lakshmi says how she could break her promise to him. Rishi tells Neelam that if he is alive, it is only because of Lakshmi. Neelam apologises to Lakshmi. Neha instigates Balwinder to do something to stop Rishi and Lakshmi from getting engaged.
Everyone has fun at engagement function. Balwinder comes outside Oberoi house. Neha had informed him about the engagement and the time as well. Security stops him from going inside, but his gang overpowers the security and he goes inside. Balwinder plays pictures of him and Lakshmi on the screen. Everyone gets shocked to see those. Lakshmi finally breaks down and says it is all a lie. She tells that she escaped from him when he attacked her.
Rishi tells Lakshmi that she has disappointed him and his family. He says he did not expect her to droop so low. He says she is his fiancé and still she is listening to that cheap man for so long, she should have slapped him by now. Rishi says all the photos are morphed and he has put Lakshmi’s face on someone else’s face. He says Lakshmi is pure like holy water and he had seen her on the day Balwinder molested her. Security throws Balwinder out and hands him over to police. Pandit ji gets them engaged. Rishi says to Neelam that he is lucky to have life partner like Lakshmi. Neelam says she believes wife’s luck helps the husband and it is true as they got a huge project approved in Australia. Neelam announces that Rishi and Lakshmi will get married in one day and leave for Australia the day after. Neelam and Virendra tell Rano and Preetam not to worry about any arrangement or clothes as they will manage everything. Lakshmi dreams about Rishi and Shalu and Bani tease her.
Lakshmi is excited for her wedding and misses her parents. Rishi comes to drop wedding dress for Lakshmi. He applies haldi on Lakshmi’s face. Shalu and Bani tease them both. Neha gets furious to see them close. Lakshmi gets ready for the wedding. Preetam and the three sisters sit in the cab to take them to wedding venue. The drive is Balwinder’s friend who Balwinder has asked not to take her to the venue. Balwinder honks at the car in front of him while driving. Abhi of Kumkum Bhagya looks out of the car window, smiles and tells him to wait.
