At the beginning of the episode, Pulkit comes for the anniversary celebration. Sunny also comes. Virat asks if he has brought everything he asked for. He says yes. Ninad comes dressed in SHERWANI. Everyone praises him. Virat announces the entry of the bride, Ashwini. Sai announces that she is someone’s wife, BHABHI, aunt and Ninad’s wife.
Ashwini comes down dressed in heaver finery. Bhawani compliments her. Sonali taunts her that she has dressed up too much. Ashwini’s sister, Sapna arrives and says her sister has to dress up for her anniversary. Ashwini is overjoyed to see her. Bhawani is not happy to see her. Sonali asks if she invited her. Sapna tells that Mohit invited them all.
Virat gestures Sai to come to one side. Pakhi wonders what they are planning. They run a slide show of Ashwini and Ninad’s honeymoon pictures from Kashmir . Ninad asks Ashwini why she gave those photos. Virat and Sai dance in Kashmiri costumes and recreate the photos. Pakhi feels jealous at their closeness. Ashwini blushes but Ninad feels disgusted.
Virat and Sai ask Ashwini and Ninad to dance. They play the music and dance with them. Ninad screams at them to stop it. He says he does not want to dance with this woman. Virat says she is his wife. Ninad says he is tolerating all this drama for his sake and this is suffocating him.
Sai says if he has ever thought how suffocated Ashwini has felt all these years. Ninad says he does not want to know. Sapna asks Ninad how he can talk like this about his wife in front of guests. Bhawani tells Sapna to shut up and not interfere in their family matters. Sapna says Ashwini is part of this family and they still treat her the same way as years back. She says Ninad only listens to Bhawani and no-one cares about Ashwini. She says they all turned her into a maid.
Bhawani tells Sapna not to interfere in their family matters. Ashwini tells Sapna to leave it. She says Sonali and Omkar do not even respect that she is elder to her. Sapna says only Sai took her side and now Virat also understands her. Pakhi says Sai’s fame has spread far and wide. Sonali says it is all Ashwini’s plan. Ashwini says she had no idea. Virat says this was his idea.
Bhawani asks Virat why he did not ask her. Sai says it is natural to have the bride’s family for the celebration. Sonali asks how Sapna knows Ashwini is ill-treated in this house, it means Ashwini gossips about them. Bhawani and Ninad berate Ashwini. Ashwini says she never bad-mouthed anyone, just talked to her. Sai says Ashwini has never gossiped about anyone to neighbors just shared her pain with her own sister. Virat tells Ninad that he never gave Ashwini respect, and that gave others the power to insult Ashwini.
Sai says Ninad loves everyone except Ashwini. Ashwini says he used to love her a lot, but then everything changed. She cries and asks Sai how can everything change in one day. She says Ninad agreed to this celebration only for Virat. She says Ninad will not even celebrate her death rituals. Ninad is shocked. Virat and Sai tell her not to talk like that. Ninad says Ashwini only speaks ill when she opens her mouth.
Sapna asks how it affects him whether Ashwini is dead or alive. Ninad says they have been together for 37 years and he never imagines his life without Ashwini. Sai says it is true that one realizes someone’s importance when they go away. Virat says this proves that Ninad still feels for Ashwini. Omkar and Sonali say Ashwini can go wherever she likes.
Bhawani asks Sapna to take Ashwini along. Sapna tells Ashwini to pack her bags. Ashwini looks at Ninad. Ninad says if she is planning to go. Sai asks Ninad to do something before Ashwini leaves. Virat brings a box for Ninad. He opens the box and it has the letters he used to write to Ashwini when they were newly married. Virat asks him to read them aloud.
Ninad says he wrote the letter to Ashwini from his first posting. He reads the letter and says he is posted to Delhi and he misses her a lot. He wrote that everyone pulled his leg for missing his wife. She wrote that he visited the places in Delhi and did not enjoy it without her and he wants to visit them with her. He wrote that he wants to buy a Punjabi suit for her and he loves her. Everyone fells touched on listening to it.
Samrat says he cannot believe he wrote such a romantic letter for Ashwini. Sai says Ashwini is no less romantic. Everyone asks Ashwini to read her reply too. Ashwini reads that she wrote that she also wants to visit Delhi with him. She asks if Bhawani will allow her to wear SALWAR SUIT. She asked if he also missed her and when he is coming back and that she loved him too.
Ninad reads his reply and says he will convince Bhawani to allow her and they will take one suit for her too. He wrote that it is getting colder in winter and he asked her to make LADDUS. She wrote back that she will also make a sweater for him and she is also making a tiny sweater. Ninad says he was overjoyed to hear this news. Ashwini says when Ninad came back he was very excited and asked the baby to make them proud. Ninad says Virat indeed made them proud.
Virat says why Ninad turned so far from Ashwini. Ninad says time away just drew them apart but these letters took them back many years. Ninad says Ashwini got too busy in the kitchen and kids. Ashwini says she wanted his support after work all day, but he would sleep early. Ninad says the distance grew with time.
Ninad says they remembered old times because of the kids. He says Ashwini never protested when he behaved badly with her. He apologizes to her for his wrongdoings. Omkar and Sonali are shocked.
