In the beginning of the episode, At Pagdandiya, the guy who helped Aditya takes him to the party and then gives him alcohol to drink. He first refuses him and then accepts the offer. Meanwhile, Malini tries contacting Aditya and is not able to. Imlie gets worried and thinks to herself that she should for once keep a update on him. She gets away from the party to make a call. The lights get off and Aryan takes center stage and announces that Imlie is going to sing a song, everyone starts insisting her to sing. Aryan thinks to himself that once she will be distracted, she won’t focus on Aditya’s whereabouts who doesn’t deserve her attention and care. Imlie sings on everyone’s request.
After her emotional song, Tripathi’s hug her. Arpita says that as the new year has come, she thinks that everyone one by one tells their new year’s resolution. Aryan says that he would start his new channel, Harish says he’ll bring what he lost. Ruby says that she’ll start her music class. Malini looks at Imlie and says that she won’t let anyone take what belongs to her, Imlie says that she won’t leave her family.
Imlie thinks to herself that she should go and talk to Meethi and ask about Aditya’s whereabouts. She finds a corner but stumbles into Aryan. Aryan says to Imlie to not let herself fall with taking responsibility of everyone else’s on her shoulder. He says she shouldn’t do this. Imlie says he is stupid if he thinks taking care of their loved once is a task. He says he has a problem as in her list of loved ones Aditya still has a place.
She says it’s not true. He asks her to be quiet as he knows she is making excuses. He says to her that she dramatically lit the handkerchief on fire and promised to stay away from Aditya. She says she is not waiting for Aditya to return. He says to her that he doesn’t care who she looks after but he’s very disappointed by her resolution as the people she has chosen to stick to are the people who are after making her life miserable. He walks away and thinks to himself that he’s sorry as this year only one person’s resolution can be fulfilled as he has sworn to destroy Aditya’s life, while she has sworn to protect the same people. Meanwhile, Aditya drinks from the pot and falls unconscious on the floor. A man enters the place where Aditya is. Imlie worries for Aditya’s safety.
Malini’s blood pressure increases and Aparna goes to ask Anu who taunts her for not worrying about her health and stopping her son from leaving.
Upcoming- Arpita tells everyone that they have to pick a mask and match with their partners and dance. Aryan holds Imlie’s hand and says to her that they are partners for the dance, while Imlie was leaving to contact someone in Pagdandiya to know about Aditya’s whereabouts.
