In the beginning of the episode, Aparna says to Aditya that she did say to him to keep his distance from the wedding if he can’t accept the truth. Aryan says Aditya is creating drama, Aditya is about to react but Aparna takes him away. Narmada asks Aryan to calm down. Everyone goes outside, Arpita gives a lantern to Imlie and Aryan. She says to Imlie that she brought happiness in their lives when. Arpita then says to Imlie that Aryan wouldn’t show but he needs Imlie but he won’t show her that, so she asks her to stay with him. Imlie says to Aryan that once Arpita knows the truth she will be hurt, he says that the day wouldn’t come.
Imlie wishes that her whole family always be happy and for their sake, she doesn’t get into a forced relationship, Aryan wishes that he is able to keep tears away from Imlie’s face. Aditya wishes that he is able to bring back Imlie in his life. Narmada thanks god for fulfilling her wish of bringing Aryan and Imlie together. They all light the lanterns together. Imlie and Aryan’s lantern doesn’t fly off, everyone gets worried.
Neela and Gudiya have flashbacks of them making a hole in the lantern so it doesn’t fly. Aditya comes forward and says to Aryan that he can’t make wishes fly forcefully when the relationship is forced. Narmada says that why did Aditya say so, Aparna calms her down. Imlie gets emotional and says that her wish has to come true as she cannot get into a forced relationship, Aryan says to her to be careful. Imlie notices a hole and fixes it and makes the lanternfly, everyone celebrates.
Aryan knocks on Imlie’s door and asks her if he can come in. She says he without permission came to her life the why is he asking for permission to come inside the room. Aryan says to Imlie that he’ll help her with removing the jewellery, she says to him that he doesn’t need to pretend to help her as Aditya isn’t around. He makes her turn around and helps her with removing the jewellery.
Aryan asks Imlie to show her hand and sees Imlie’s hand with mehendi. He says when she didn’t want to the ritual of the wedding then from where did she get the mehendi done on her hands. She says if betrayed her she also did something and removes a layer of stick on from her hand. He says to her what she will show tomorrow to her family when they ask she says they will understand that the mehendi didn’t leave color and wouldn’t let her get married. He then looks at his hand and says that he got Imlie’s name on his hand and he will make sure Imlie also has his as the ritual will fulfill.
Upcoming- Imlie gets emotional and says to Aryan that she cannot perform the rituals with someone like him who is so pretentious. She holds his collar and asks why he keeps betraying her.
