Manisha Purohit: Rakshabandhan drives home the message that not just the brothers are supposed to take care of their sisters, but it’s also the other way round

Manisha Purohit’s Kamlesh will be seen doing much more after the show Rakshabandhan… Rasal Apne Bhai Ki Dhal has taken a 15-year leap. The actor hints at a number of subplots filled with twists and turns that will have the audiences hooked in coming times.

“My character Kamlesh is a very strong woman, but now, after Umed’s death and Phoolie’s  (Sanchita Banerjee) has made her sick. She is facing a mental trauma and would also attack Chakori to take revenge. Later things will get better for her. It seems the audience wants my reel avatar to teach lessons to the wrong doers. That’s the kind of messages that I have been getting from the viewers on social media,” Manisha shares.

Not ready to divulge any further details, the actor urges the viewers to stay tuned to the show as there are many interesting things that are going to happen this time.

Praising the concept of the show and title as unique, the actor feels, “The show is trying to drive home the message that it’s not just brothers who are supposed to take care of their sisters, but it’s the other way round as well. Behen ho to Rasal jaisi.”

She also has nice things to say about the producer duo Yash Patnaik and Mamta Patnaik. “It’s an amazing experience to work with the Beyond Dream team. Yash ji  (Yash Patnaik and Mamta Patnaik) are wonderful producers. We all are enjoying this journey with them backing us,” she says.
