Sham Mashalkar enjoys the winter season the most. The Sasural Genda Phool 2 says that during this time one gets to wear a lot of good jackets, sweatshirts and sweaters etc, which looks good.
“You get a chance to style yourself during winters. I enjoy the nip in the air. Unfortunately, Mumbai is not that cold but the weather is quite pleasant. And when you go out for dinner at a restaurant or for a walk in the garden at night, you have a lot of fun. Apna ek Samaa hota hai sardion ka. And everything is so chilly outside. You enjoy hot food like hot chocolate, tandoori, soups, Chinese, Thai food, and different egg recipes,” he says.
His favourite winter holiday destinations are Kerala and Goa. “We visited Goa itself in the winter of 2020. The climate was really good. There were a lot of tourists who visited Goa around that time. And trust me Goa was Beautiful. It felt mesmerising. Chilled vibes, amazing food, beautiful places to visit etc. You can relax there because in Goa it’s always humid. And in case we are not able to visit Goa because it’s far, we usually go to Lonavala or Daman for a short trip of two-three days,” he adds.
The peeps in the entertainment industry hardly get to go on long holidays given their tight schedules. “Yes we don’t get time because of shooting but we can take out time if we pre-plan things. So yes long holidays are quite difficult but short trips we can still make plans for,” he adds.
