At the beginning of the episode, Mithila is happy to see the sketch and thinks Gopika can fearlessly put her opinion forward and she is the right girl for Saksham. Saksham thinks Gopika is not right for him. Saksham throws the frame away.
Gopika regains her senses. Everyone is relieved to see her. Gopika wonders why Saksham appears to be in a rage. Ramila asks Meenal about what she was saying about Chirag’s wedding. Meenal tells her that she will call her the next day. Gopika thanks Krishna for choosing a life partner like Saksham for her. She says she is equal to him and she wants to tell this to him. Gopika writes in a notepad that she is only educated till the 8th class in Gujarati medium and does not know email or driving. She writes that he is free to break this engagement. She gives the note to the staff to give it to Saksham. The helper puts it in Saksham’s room. Gopika is shocked to see her sketch on the floor and thinks he threw her gift that she made with so much love.
Gopika is sad at home. Mama ji asks her what happened. Gopika says she spoilt everything. She says she does not deserve Saksham. Saksham wants someone modern who knows good English and can mail and drive. Mama ji says the frame might have fallen by the breeze. He assures her that she is right for him and Saksham is lucky to have her. He says one can easily find a driver to drive and a secretary to check mails but not the right partner. Gopika says Saksham will break the engagement. The note flies away with the breeze.
Ashi asks Ramila what Meenal said to her. Ramila says she will ask for her hand for Chirag herself.
Mithila asks Saksham why he looks worried. Saksham tells her that Gopika wants kids but he doesn’t, so how will this marriage work. Mithila asks him to give this marriage a chance. Saksham promises her. He thinks he cannot break his promise to her but he cannot lie to Gopika too.
Gopika looks at her SHADI KA JODA sadly. Saksham video calls Gopika to talk. Ramila comes and says they cannot talk like this privately before marriage. Saksham thinks he should message her. Gopika gets the message, but it is in English. Gopika asks Ashi to read the message for her. Meenal calls Ramila and says she loved her idea to get both brothers married in the same MANDAP. Meenal shows Ramila that Chirag is getting engaged to Diksha. Ramila is shocked, but Meenal says it was all thanks to her idea.
Ashi read the message to Gopika. Saksham has written that they are two different people and they cannot be together and they need to break up. He asks her to not come for the marriage if she cares for his and Mithila’s happiness. Ramila screams. Ashi goes to take care of her. Ramila tells her that Chirag got engaged to Diksha. Ashi says her dream to be Modi BAHU is gone. Ramila says she will find a way for it. Ashi says there is no chance as Saksham has broken the engagement.
Gopika figures out that Saksham wants to break the engagement. Gopika looks at the engagement saree that Saksham chose for her and cries. Gopika wears an old suit. Ramila comes and asks what Gopika has worn as she is going to be a bride soon. Gopika says Saksham does not want to get married to her, so she should give back all those gifts. Ramila says it was an April fools’ joke. Ramila asks Ashi to read the message correctly again. Ashi twists the message and tells Gopika that Saksham in love with her and wants them to be together. Gopika asks why he wrote breakup, Ashi says it was a typo and he wrote makeup.
Gopika says she will go to MANDAP just as Saksham wants her. Saksham wonders why Gopika hasn’t replied yet. He hopes that Gopika will not come to the MANDAP.
