Star Plus’s longest and most popular running show Yeh Rishta Kya Khelata Hai has managed to keep the viewers hooked to the story over the years and currently entertaining the viewers with Akshu, Abhimanyu and Arohi’s love triangle storyline.
In last week’s episodes, Akshu calls Niel and asks him how the arrangements are coming together. Niel says it’s fine, Abhimanyu comes from behind and asks what’s happening there. Niel thinks Abhimanyu heard everything and starts to make excuses, but realises when Abhimanyu says to not plan anything for his birthday that he hasn’t heard anything. Akshu thinks to herself if she can hear Abhimanyu’s voice once more. Niel calls him and says he loves him, Abhimanyu replies he loves him too. Akshu keeps the call and she also loves Abhimanyu a lot and she has to do everything to bring back his smile. Akshu reaches the hospital’s new building. Manjuri and Akshu hug, and she introduces her to everyone. Abhimanyu comes back to his office and
Arohi takes blessings from everyone before leaving for the hospital. Manish warns him by saying to stick to her profession. After Arohi leaves Akshu thinks to herself that she needs to be extra careful in the hospital as she has to hide from both the Birla’s and Arohi. Akshu is leaving for the hospital from the back gate when Kairav comes there and asks if she needs a lift. She tells him that she’ll manage. Abhimanyu enters the hospital and the staff sings a birthday song for him. He thanks them and says their love and support makes him stronger. They ask him to come along with them as they have a surprise planned for him. Abhimanyu gets surprised by the decorations and efforts of everyone.
Abhimanyu in his office changes his shirt and Ruby enters while Akshu hides behind the pile of gifts. Akshu feels jealous of her. Ruby says to him that she knows he is lonely.Abhimanyu gets angry at her and tells her to not dare to say anything against Akshu. Ruby says to him that he is insulting him and her father is health minister. After Ruby leaves, Abhimanyu sits on the couch and says to himself he can feel her presence. He looks behind the gifts, and Akshu gets scared when the balloon bursts. Akshu is about to fall when Abhimanyu saves her. She stands and is about to explain herself. Neil enters the office. Neil says Akshu was the one who convinced Manjuri to sing. He says it was all to bring a smile to his face. Arohi hears everything.
Manjuri waits for Abhimanyu at the house and as he reaches says to him that it wasn’t Akshu’s fault as she was forced to help them bring a smile on his face. He says he feels like he is not moving forward as he always crosses paths with her. The other family came home worried. Shefali tells everyone that Ruby has filed molestation charges against Abhimanyu. Neil says they have someone who can be the witness. Abhimanyu looks towards Neil and says there isn’t any proof that can prove him innocent. At Goenka house, the family returns before Akshu could tell them everything. Arohi arrives and tells them that Ruby has put molestation charges against Abhimanyu. Akshu says that Abhimanyu is innocent. Manish asks her how did she reach there. Akshu tells them the truth.
Harshwardhan asks Abhimanyu to think and tell them if there was anything in the room that could help him to prove innocent. Manjuri gets flustered and says Akshu was in the room. Harshwardhan says they are going to Goenka house to call Akshu to act as a witness. Abhimanyu screams and says to him that nobody is calling Akshu. Harshwardhan says to him to calm down and nobody will go to Goenka house. Anand after Abhimanyu leaves says to him that they need Akshu’s confession. Harshwardhan says they will go there and bring Akshu and the Lawyer will keep Abhimanyu engaged. The Birla’s arrive at the Goenka house. Manish says to them if they are here to ask for their help then they should request instead of demanding Akshu to come with them. Abhimanyu arrives at Goenka house. He asks them to leave. He turns towards the Goenka family and says there has been some mistake as he is promising that Akshu’s name will not be dragged in all of this.
At the association’s proceedings, Ruby and her father accuse Abhimanyu for assaulting her. The jury says to Abhimanyu that there wasn’t any CCTV footage and some people saw Ruby crying and coming out of his cabin. They ask Abhimanyu if he has any witness to prove him innocent. Akshu arrives and says that Ruby is lying. Abhimanyu says to the association to give her a moment as she needs to talk to Akshu. He goes to her and says why is she here, and wants to help her when she doesn’t love him.
