At the beginning of the episode, Samar goes to bring water for Vanraj. While Vanraj asks Babuji to go and sleep as it’s too late. Babuji says yes it is very late. Vanraj thinks about what he wants to say. Babuji says he did a good throwing a party for them. Because pakhi feels good after-party. He asks if Babuji is happy too. Babuji says when he leaves the house and he feels good. Vanraj is taken aback. He apologizes for what happened on Paritosh’s wedding day. He says he feels very guilty for that and he feels so sad that day, he can’t even take part in his son’s marriage. Also, people will laugh at his name. Babuji says his ego even bothering him in his tough time. Vanraj wants to clear his point. Samar fetches water for vanraj and says asks him anything he is with him. In the morning, Samar gifts Anupama a watch. She feels very good and tells her it’s her first watch before that she never buys a watch and never wears it. Babuji says because a housewife never needs a watch but a working woman needs it. Anupama notice sadness on his face. She asks if he wants to hide his sadness from her. Babuji says Vanraj’s health bothering him. Anupama says she will handle everything. Babuji says she needs not to worry they will handle all her work. He shows her kitchen. There she notices everyone working on behalf of her. She feels great. Later Lila says Dolly and Sanjay leave without having breakfast. She asks about Anupama. Samar tells she is getting ready for her school. Lila says she should stay at home on new years.
Vanraj says let her go. Samar shocked hearing such a word from his mouth. Anupama comes and Lila taunts her. Later she is about to go, everyone wishes her Vanraj wishes her too.
