At the beginning of the episode, Anirudh arrives at Thakuma’s house in disguise as a maid. Anirudh moves forward. Thakuma advises him to stop. Thakuma tells that there is no need for another maid, she will do the work herself. Anirudh recalls that he had told Kamala that Thakuma would not believe any other woman. So she has to convince Thakuma that she is a good maid.
So Kamala tells Thakuma that she is her cousin and also does household chores very well. Thakuma asks her name. Kamala is about to speak, but Thakuma wants asks her sister to speak up. Anirudh says that his name is Rupa. Thakuma wants to know why she is talking by bowing her eyes, she is hiding something.
Rupa i.e. Anirudh believes that women should talk only by bowing down. Thakuma is happy to hear this. While according to Bondita, Rupa’s view is so wrong. According to her, a woman should not bend her eyes in front of anyone. Further Thakuma thinks that she should take Rupa’s test. So she asks her to clean the oil from the floor.
But Anirudh fails to do this job and Thakuma refuses to hire Rupa. Then Anirudh sees that Sumati is feeling thirsty and he goes to her and gives her water. Thakuma is happy with this act of hers and gives her a job. Jhilmil asks her to clean the courtyard.
Anirudh does the same. Meanwhile, Thakuma orders Bondita to give her a massage. Bondita follows her order. Anirudh is saddened to see that Bondita has to do all this work. After this Thakuma wants to know from Rupa what are her thoughts on education. Rupa explains that girls who study make society messy.
Bondita gets angry after hearing this. She starts scolding Rupa. Bondita even says that she will never give up studies and will prove that an educated girl makes society beautiful. Thakuma gets annoyed. She takes hot coal and throws it on Bondita’s leg. Bondita groans in pain. Anirudh feels bad for her. He decides that he will soon take Bondita from here.
