Barrister Babu is a show that is different from the saas, Bahu drama and this show is a good treat for the viewers. Its unique story is delighting and mesmerizing the viewer’s mind. Barrister Babu is a story in which a girl named Bondita was being married to an old man. And he dies in the middle of a marriage. The villagers then decide that they will do a sati ritual and will burn the young girl Bondita. Anirudh who has come from abroad is against this. And to save the little Bondita, he marries her. The main part of the story only teaches how we should stand against the evildoers.
This week we saw that Pandit wanted Bondita to go to a ditch and take the exam. He asked Thakuma if she still wants Bondita to undergo purification rituals. Thakuma said yes. Tapur eavesdropped on her and decided to tell Anirudh but Thakuma saw her and locked her in the room. And asked Tupur to keep eye on her. In the night Thakuma gave milk to Bondita which contains drugs.
Bondita was careful this time and decided that she will not drink milk. Tapur said to Tupur if she doesn’t help her she will tell Thakuma that she has stolen money. Tupur got sacred and agreed to help her. Tupur went in Roy Villa and told Anirudh that Thakuma is sending Bondita to Khandar for a purification method from where no woman has come back alive. Trilochan wanted to help Bondita but Anirudh stopped him as he has a different plan going on in his mind. Sumati saw Bondita throwing milk and gave her rasgulla which contains drugs. Bondita blackout after eating it. They sent to Kandahar but Anirudh save her and told her the truth.
Bondita apologised to Anirudh for misunderstanding him. Anirudh made her understand that she did nothing wrong, it all happened due to Thakuma. they heeded some kind of voice. He believed that Thakuma has arrived and he took her out from there. Bondita’s leg is hurting. Anirudh took her in his arms and left. Later on, Thakuma found Anirudh’s watch and believed that Bondita is with Anirudh. She told this thing to Sumati. Bondita asked Anirudh where are they going.
He said that they are leaving for Kolkata and then they will move towards London. Bondita wanted to apologise to him as she didn’t believe him. Anirudh added that he already told her that she did nothing wrong, so there is no need for an apology. Then he showed her the way of Krishana Nagar. He added that they will leave this place soon but only then Thakuma arrived there. She gets Anirudh arrested.
Trilochan met Anirudh. Anirudh informed him that Thakuma wants to get Bondita married, they have to do something. Thakuma gave money to Pandit and asks him to bring a groom for Bondita. The police told Trilochan that his officer orders him to punish Anirudh. Trilochan looked shocked. Bondita winched in pain. Tapur thought to call Thakuma so that she can put medicine on her leg. But Bondita says no to her. Ahead her injury got worse and she told Thakuma to get Anirudh out the jail. Then only she will apply for this medicine. She did the same. Later Thakuma threatened Anirudh that if he doesn’t leave Bondita, she won’t treat her injury. Bondita found out about it and confront Thakuma.
