Barrister Babu is a show that is different from the saas, Bahu drama and this show is a good treat for the viewers. Its unique story is delighting and mesmerizing the viewer’s mind. Barrister Babu is a story in which a girl named Bondita was being married to an old man. And he dies in the middle of a marriage. The villagers then decide that they will do a sati ritual and will burn the young girl Bondita. Anirudh who has come from abroad is against this. And to save the little Bondita, he marries her. The main part of the story only teaches how we should stand against the evildoers.
This week we saw that Thakuma locked all the food in the cupboard. Anirudh felt that Thakuma is doing wrong with Bondita and he advised Thakuma not to give such punishment to Bondita. Thakuma clarified that because of Anirudh it is happening and she will soon chastise Anirudh. Ahead, Thakuma was distributing food and gave only one bread to Bondita. Tapur felt sad for Bondita. She advised Thakuma that she should fill Bondita’s food plate as Bondita doesn’t eat anything since morning. Thakuma pitied Bondita and wanna give her more food but in one condition if Bondita throws the thoughts of Anirudh in the garbage bin. Bondita refused and stood up. Then Anirudh tried to give food to Bondita as well as told her that he is her Sakhababu.
Bondita told Anirudh that Thakuma forbade her to meet Anirudh. Anirudh told her not to worry as Bondita has done nothing wrong in this because she did not know that Anirudh has come in the form of Rupa. Anirudh told her about his goal in which he wants to take her abroad so that Bondita can complete her studies there and for that, she will have to write some articles. Thakuma noticed a man in her house and thought that this man is working for Anirudh, so she went to Anirudh’s house, however, that man confirmed it later that he is not working for Anirudh
Later Sumati asked Bondita if she is unhappy. Bondita said no and added that she is happy. Sumati knew that Bondita is sad because Thakuma has announced that she will cut off Anirudh’s hand if he comes to her house. She embraced Bondita and clarified to her that she is very disappointed with Anirudh as he has ended his relationship with Bondita.
Bondita clarified to her that there is no fault of Anirudh in this because she also had a hand in breaking the relationship. Sumati said that then she should send Anirudh from here because Anirudh can get into trouble due to her mistake. Bondita discerned her point. Then she asked Anirudh to leave her. But Anirudh said that he won’t leave her here and they will go abroad at any cost.
Later Thakuma found broken hair and went to Trilochan’s house and called him. Trilochan asked her why she has come here when she has decided that she will not step into her house. Then what is she doing here? Thakuma told that she has got some broken hair in her own house which can only belong to one man. And she suspected that this hair belongs to Anirudh.
So she will now punish him and cut Anirudh’s hand in front of everyone. Trilochan told her that this hair is not of his son. Because he is not at home. He has gone out for some work, so he is sure that he cannot come to his house. Thakuma did not believe him. She called Rupa and ordered her to bring Bondita. Anirudh wanted to know what Thakuma wants to do now. Bondita and Anirudh came to Thakuma.
Thakuma said that she will break Bondita’s fingers. Anirudh looked shocked to hear this. Thakuma injured Bondita due to which Anirudh also became sad. He was about to tell Thakuma that he is not Rupa but Anirudh. However, Bondita prevented him from doing so. Then in the morning Sampurana came to Thakuma and told her that she had found a Payal in her house. Thakuma found out that this Payal belonged to Rupa. She went to her and questioned her.
Rupa lied that she went to Roy house so that she can saw what Anirudh wanted to do. And according to her Anirudh wanted to take Bondita away from her so that he can rule Bondita’s life. Later Trilochan discovered that Rupa is Anirudh so he locked him. There, Thakuma locked Bondita in a basement because she is having her periods. Later Trilochan noticed that Anirudh is very sad so he opened the door and said that Anirudh can go. Later Anirudh discovered that Thakuma has locked Bondita because of her periods. He became upset and punished himself. While Bondita performed some Yoga moves to soothe her pain.
