Barrister Babu is a story in which a girl named Bondita was being married to an old man. And he dies in the middle of a marriage. The villagers then decide that they will do a sati ritual and will burn the young girl Bondita. Anirudh who has come from abroad is against this. And to save the little Bondita, he marries her. Last week, we saw that Anirudh has brought Bondita to the Siliguri hostel. While Bondita was unhappy as she was about to get away from Anirudh. She was regretting that she couldn’t stay with him. While Anirudh was excited that now Bondita will be able to start her life afresh. He was then shocked when he saw Trilochan there. Anirudh wanted to know how he came to know that he is here. Then Trilochan told that he is a zamindar and he can get any kind of information. Anirudh further asked him to leave from there but Trilochan put a big demand in front of him. He asked him to marry Bondita again, but Anirudh and Bondita refuse it.
Then Trilochan suffered a heart attack. Bondita and Anirudh were shocked to see this. They tried to get Trilochan admitted to the hospital. But Trilochan refused this and the only demand of him is that they should get married. Bihari also began to force Anirudh for this. Anirudh was upset and decided that he should marry Bondita. But then Bondita came to know that Trilochan is doing drama. And she refused to marry Anirudh. Trilochan got annoyed at this and broke his relationship with Bondita. Anirudh convinced Bondita that he will do everything right.
Then they went to the Siliguri hostel. Bondita liked the beautiful hostels. It was time for Anirudh to bid farewell. Both were sad but they were hiding their pain from each other. And then Anirudh left from there without saying anything. Two days passed but Anirudh did not call Bondita because according to him he would not be able to stop his tears in front of Bondita. While Sampoorna made a full inquiry about Bondita, she still did not know where Bondita was. But as soon as Anirudh called Siliguri and was talking to Bondita’s teacher. Then Sampoorna discovered that Bondita is in Siliguri. She told this to her mother and the greedy Debolina thought that she should kidnap Bondita and get twenty-five thousand rupees.
For this, she asked a man to go to Bondita and tell her that Trilochan was ill and she had come to take him to Tulsipur. That man did the same. Bondita wanted to talk to Anirudh but Debolina did not let this happen. And disconnected the telephone wires so that Bondita could not talk to Anirudh. Yet Bondita understood that something was not going right with her. She insisted on going back to the hostel but Debolina strikes her head and Bondita swooned. After this, Anirudh also got to know that Bondita has been kidnapped and she is kidnapped by Debolina.
