At the beginning of the episode, Devika calls Soniya to ask about Rishi’s condition. Soniya tells that Malishka is here and she is happy to see Lakshmi’s hand in Rishi’s hand. Devika says Lakshmi saved his life, so Soniya says it was just a coincidence. She says no one listens to her in this house.
Virendra jokes that they will not be able to participate in Ganesh Chaturthi this year. Rishi says it is Neelam’s favorite festival. Neelam says the doctor has said that they will be discharged today and will reach home the next day. Rishi says he is dying to go home. Malishka asks if she can also come along. Lakshmi also invites Malishka to join them. She asks Rishi also to insist. Rishi says Malishka is family, so she must come along. Malishka says yes.
They all reach home and make Rishi and Lakshmi rest and call the doctor. Rishi says he is fine and he will go to bring Ganapati. Virendra asks Lakshmi if they celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi in Punjab. She says they celebrated MATA KI CHOWKI more. Malishka says they can celebrate this year because Lakshmi saved Rishi’s life. Doctor checks Rishi. The doctor says he is fine now. Lakshmi thanks God for Rishi’s health. Dadi tells everyone to let Rishi rest and tells Rishi to finish his food. Rishi sleeps on Neelam’s lap. Lakshmi goes out.
Malishka comes to Karishma’s room and asks why is looking tense. Karishma says why she is giving so much credit to Lakshmi. She says Virendra is already feeling guilty and this way Lakshmi will become everyone’s favorite. Malishka says Virendra is right and they are cheating Lakshmi in a way. Karishma asks then why she did not stop Rishi. Malishka says because she loves him and she did it to save his life. She says Rishi will never betray her. Karishma says she is trying to keep Lakshmi like an object from day 1. She says she put oil under the KUMKUM THALI so that she slips and Neelam will feel she is unlucky. She says she also created that drama on MUH-DIKHAI so that no one likes Lakshmi in this house. Malishka says Lakshmi can never take her place in this house as everyone in the family loves her like family. Karishma says there is nothing in Lakshmi to dislike and which family would not like a dream- BAHU like her. She says the day they accept Lakshmi as the daughter-in-law, Malishka will lose her place
Lakshmi is in the kitchen. Virendra comes and asks what she is doing. She says she is making turmeric milk for Rishi. Virendra says he will take it to Rishi. Lakshmi says she wonders if she married Rishi for him or because she can see her father in Virendra. Virendra says Rishi is very good, but sometimes he may act strange. Lakshmi says she is very lucky.
Virendra brings turmeric milk for Rishi. Rishi thinks it is saffron milk and tries it but says it is horrible. Lakshmi tells that it is good for his recovery. Rishi says he is already taken his medicines. Lakshmi tells him to check on internet that it is very good. Neelam tells him to have it, so he has it completely. Lakshmi says she will put turmeric paste on his leg so it heals faster. Neelam tells Rishi to do so, so he lets her do it. Neelam tells both of them to rest and goes. Lakshmi applies turmeric on Rishi’s leg. Rishi wishes he could clearly tell Lakshmi that he does not love her.
Malishka tells Karishma that she convinced Rishi to marry Lakshmi, even though he was not willing to cheat Lakshmi. She had threatened Rishi to go away if he did not marry Lakshmi. Karishma says Rishi has a good heart and he will not able to resist Lakshmi’s goodness. Malishka says she will never let Lakshmi take her place.
Rishi says the paste did not hurt him. Lakshmi says it is not packaged ointment, but homemade so it will not hurt.
