In the beginning of the episode, Lakshmi asks Sonia to behave in a way towards her that’s suitable for a sister-in-law. Lakshimi says to her that everything that happens in the house for the next three months would be monitored by the judge and if she tells her that she complains then the family has to undergo the problems. Sonia leaves and Malishka follows her, she says to her to not take Lakshmi seriously. Sonia says that she doesn’t want to take risk as the judge would definitely believe Lakshmi.
Lakshmi stands on the stool again, it rocks and she is about to fall. Rishi saves her and says to her to stand fast as his hands are aching. He asks her to tell him who her secret helper is. She says as it’s a house he can find that himself. He asks her to stop smiling as it’s frustrating, she says to Jim but he was the one who used to say that her smile was beautiful and she should smile more often. Rishi says that even though she has to stop smiling.
At the dining table, Lakshmi says to everyone like yesterday was her ghar pravesh, today is her first cook and like before she has made pini for everyone. She serves everyone and everyone refuses saying they have diabetes or are cutting sugar. She serves Rishi, before he could refuse she says to him that she knows what he can and cannot eat. Then she asks everyone who has a problem with sugar and everyone raises their hands. She says they can eat the pini as it has jaggery and not sugar.
She says it’s the teaching of her father that anything new should start with sweet. Virendra takes a bite and then says to her where did her teachings go when she signed the divorce papers. She says that Malishka had kept a condition, he says tk her that no condition was above their relationship, and she broke that and now it is not going to be easy for him to forgive her. She says tk him that he has every right to scold her as she is his daughter and it’s her fault ghaghra she didn’t think how he would feel about her decision. He says he doesn’t want to say anything to her and leaves for the office.
Rishi tells Lakshmi why she is trying to put Malishka as a liar. He says it was her decision to take divorce and he was there to ask her. She says it doesn’t matter now as Virendra is right no matter who had forced her she shouldn’t have betrayed the trust of her father. Rishi says to Ayush to come with him as they are getting late for office. Lakshmi says he can’t leave until he eats the pini.
