In the beginning of the episode, Lakshmi stands in front of Virendra and Neelam. She says to them that all this feels strange and she doesn’t know what to do, Neelam says to her that she should come to them then when she has words to explain. Ayush says to everyone that he has found the engagement ring and the engagement can take place now. Sonia asks Ayush if it was Lakshmi’s room they found it in. Rishi says that it wasn’t found from Lakshmi. Malishka says that but it seems to her from Lakshmi’s face that she will cry in a few minutes and it’s because she doesn’t want the engagement to happen. Malishka says to Lakshmi that Rishi was her’s and will again become her’s.
Malishka says but it doesn’t matter now and she holds Rishi’s Jane and takes him to the stage. Dadi says to Ahana to not feel bad as it is not their fault that Lakshmi can’t take stand for herself. Ayush says to them that Lakshmi can’t take a stand because she is at fault. Ayush then goes and makes the announcement for ring exchange and prays to god that finally the engagement will take place. He then asks the pandit to chant the mantras.
Rishi picks the ring and is about to put in Malishka’s finger, but Shalu comes there and asks Rishi what he is doing. Everyone gets confused, she says to Rishi why he is getting engaged to Malishka. Malishka asks Rishi to not look towards Shalu and put the engagement ring in her finger and let Lakshmi and Shalu see. The judge comes there and says that she also wants to see how Rishi can get engaged.
She asks everyone to explain what’s going on there. Malishka comes forward and says that she was there in court if she remembers, the judge asks her what’s going on. Malishka says that Rishi is just giving her a promise ring that he’ll marry her after 2 months. The judge says to them that they think that she is a fool, she asks Rishi what she said if they don’t follow her orders and Rishi says they will be punished. The judge says, then she is calling the police and he will go to jail.
Lakshmi says Rishi has done no wrong and it was her who after an argument with Rishi asked him to get engaged with Malishka. The judge says to Lakshmi that she is disappointed with her and asks her to come with Rishi to her office tomorrow.
