In the beginning of the episode, The police see Rishi and Lakshmi fight. He says to them that he has identified them and asks the constable to put them in jail. Rishi says that whatever he is thinking is wrong. The police say that even after being from a good family they are doing wrong things. Rishi says to the inspector that he cannot talk disrespectfully about his wife and he won’t let Lakshmi go inside the jail with the shady people in it. The police ask Rishi to prove that they are married and can leave, Lakshmi says she has her mangalsutra and sindoor. She says and I’d she is saying that she is his husband what anything else is required to prove. The inspector says he has seen enough offenders that he knows all the tricks.
The inspector says tk Rishi until someone comes to bail him or he proves that Lakshmi is his wife they both have to stay in the jail. The constable takes them towards the lockup, Rishi says he has to make a call. Meanwhile, Neelam gets angry at the staff for not closing the window, Vierendra says it was him who opened it. She asks him to take fresh air in the garden as it is her room and she doesn’t like the windows open. Vierendra asks Neelam to calm down and says to her to see a doctor for blood pressure, she says it’s Lakshmi that is causing her anger.
Rishi says to the inspector that he wants to make a call, the inspector says he knows his rights and can make the call. He calls Neelam and cuts the call midway. He says to the inspector that he doesn’t remember the number and needs his phone. The constable puts Rishi back in the jail, he and Lakshmi get into a sweet tussle. Lakshmi says to Rishi that she remembers Neelam’s number and she is going to call her, Rishi tries to stop her. The people in the lockup say that Rishi is trying to protect Lakshmi from his mother as she will only get angry at her.
Malishka arrives outside the police station with her mother, she says to her unconscious mother to take water and she will get Rishi out of jail. She goes inside and says to the inspector that Rishi is her husband, but the inspector refuses to believe her and asks for proof. Malishka calls Neelam and asks her to send the engagement photo, Neelam says she will send later. Malishka tells her that Rishi is in jail, Neelam says she is coming to Mahabaleshwar.
Neelam says to her family that the pandit was right, Lakshmi is bad omen for Rishi as he had ended up in jail because of her. Malishka sees her mother awake and asks her to tell the inspector that she is Rishi’s wife and not Lakshmi. They go inside and Malishka’s mother lies, and the police say if they don’t stop lying he’ll find the truth and then put her in jail.
