In the beginning of the episode, A Rishta is brought for Ahana and she gets nervous. Lakshmi goes to her and says that she is there for her if she wants anyone to talk to as she understands the phase. Ahana goes to Lakshmi’s room and asks her how she knew that she was nervous. Lakshmi says to her that she wasn’t lying when she told her that she likes Shalu for her, and whenever her sister’s get quiet she is able to figure out why.
Lakshmi makes Ahana sit and say to her what is worrying her, she tells her that she had a boyfriend who she broke up with but she after hearing about the marriage is nervous. Lakshmi says to her that this is normal, and she doesn’t have to worry as she promises to look after every responsibility of the wedding. Ahana hugs Lakshmi, and Malishka sees them from outside and feels jealous.
In the morning a doctor comes to see Dadi to get a blood test, and she gets scared and after the test scolds Virendra for taking blood from her. Neelam asks her family to behave civilly in front of Gautam and his family. Malishka comes there and goes to fix Rishi’s jacket, but Lakshmi stops her and says that she is here to do it for her husband. The staff brings groceries and Lakshmi takes them to the kitchen.
Gautam and his family come, and everyone introduces themselves. Malishka holds Rishi’s arm and introduces herself as Rishi’s fiance, and Lakshmi overhears this and introduces herself and says she will bring Ahana. While going to bring Ahana, Lakshmi thinks to herself that she only kept quiet because the guests are down and it’s wsd for Ahana’s sake. Lakshmi says to Ahana that she looks beautiful and it will be her decision and she will always be with her.
Ahana and Lakshmi come down, and Gautam’s parents praise the tea and Ahana says it was made by her sister-in-law. Gautam’s mother asks Lakshmi who she is married to, Rishi says she is his wife. Malishka says but they are getting divorced soon, and Gautam’s parents say that this is quite normal these days. The family’s send Ahana and Gautam to her room to chat.
Lakshmi goes to the kitchen and finds the grocery bag missing and gets anxious, and asks the staff who tell her that they don’t know. Malishka comes there and asks Lakshmi if there is something she can help with to make continental meal. Lakshmi says to her that why did she steal the bags? Malishka had a flashback of stealing, but says that she didn’t do such a thing. Malishka comes out of the kitchen and thinks to herself that now she will see how Lakshmi succeeds in making a good impression. Meanwhile, Ahana and Gautam come down and tell the family that they like each other.
