In the beginning of the episode, Aditya says to Imlie that he’s sorry for ruining her life by getting married to him. She says to him that he shouldn’t be sorry as she is sorry that she came with him to Delhi and knowingly lived as a servant in his house. She says to Aditya that she is sorry that even after knowing that he spent the night with Malini, she forgave him. She says she is sorry that she let Malini live with them for the better of her and Aditya’s child without thinking of herself. She says to Malini that she is very sorry for getting so late to make her realize that she is doing wrong as she has now become the worst person. She says she is sorry for herself that she kept everyone above herself. Imlie then signs the divorce papers and gives it to Aditya.
Aditya locks himself in his room and the family goes behind him. Meanwhile, Imlie doesn’t feel well and is about to fall. Aryan helps her, he says to her that he is giving her half a day off. He says to her to remember that she has to be strong and be able to differentiate between personal and professional life. While leaving he looks at Imlie and says to himself that because of Aditya two people lost everything and when the time comes he’ll pay for it.
The family knocks at Aditya’s door, he says to them that when it is about him and Imlie why will he talk to them. Ruby says to her mother when she blames Imlie for the divorce, that why should Imlie compromise when Aditya continuously doubted her relation with Aryan. Meanwhile, Imlie stands outside and says to herself that she needs to get back on her feet. Malini comes outside with a lamp and tells Imlie that Aparna lit that for her, and tries to blow it out. Imlie stops her from doing that and says that she will keep the mother’s well wishes. She before leaving says to Malini that she should protect her husband as there are a lot of husband stealers in the city.
Aditya opens the door and says to Aparna that he swears on her that he doesn’t want to keep any relationship with Imlie. Aparna says to him that in his ego he has sworn on her. She says then she also swears on him that Imlie will always be welcome in their house with or without his relationship with her.
Upcoming- Aryan calls Imlie to his office and says to her that she has to cover a high-profile wedding for the newspapers page 3. She asks him who’s wedding it is. Anu says to her it’s her daughter’s wedding with famous journalist Aditya. Imlie says to him that she won’t do it. Anu gives a huge amount cheque to Aryan and says to him to think about it.
