Kumkum Bhagya is a Hindi TV drama television serial about a star-crossed couple Abhi and Pragya, who are now separated. Ranbeer falls in love with their daughter Prachi, while their other daughter Rhea vies for his attention.
Last week we saw that, Abhi goes to Pragya’s house to give her the keys. He convinced himself that the girl to whom he is going to give the key cannot be his Pragya. Later, it comes to know that Rhea has started taking drugs and she is living a different life. Ranbir is feeling nervous to enter his house to meet his father. Pragya and Sushma goes to a mall for shopping. Tanu also goes in the same mall. Tanu stoles the purse of Pragya. When Pragya doesn’t find her purse she doubts that this has done by Gautam Thapar.
Ranbir enters his house, Pallavi is shocked to see him. But Vikram gets happy after seeing him. Pragya angrily goes to Gautam Thapar and told him that she Overheard their conversation and she knew that they have hired someone to steal her purse. Pallavi told Ranbir that he can still come back and can have this luxurious life if he leaves Prachi. Ranbir said that he is not a kid who can be manipulated easily. Abhi was shouting at Tanu when he got to know that Tanu has stolen that purse.
Pragya enters the house of Abhi and she is is shocked to see everyone in that condition. Police ask Tanu to give the purse of Pragya back to her. Tanu said that Pragya is lying and she can’t even afford to buy this purse. Pragya ask Tanu to talk to her properly otherwise she will regret. Dadi says to Pragya that she was waiting to see her. Pragya gets emotional so she left. Police has arrested Tanu. Alia told Mitali to not tell Abhi anything about Pragya. Later, Mitali told everything to Abhi that police has arrested Tanu.
Abhi goes to meet Tanu in the jail. Then Tanu says it’s her fault and says sorry to him. Alia ask Abhi to talk to the police so that they free Tanu from the jail. Meanwhile, Vikram ask Ranbir to don’t leave this house. He called Prachi and apologise to her. He ask both of them to come in this house forever. Then While Ranbir is leaving Pallavi tells him that even though Vikram apologises to Prachi, he still hates her. Alia says to Tanu that they should keep this secret from Abhi that Pragya is Alive because they never know how they will react when they meet each other.
Abhi tries to convince the police officer to set Tanu free from jail. He apologise to him. But the police officer ask him to go otherwise he will also put him in jail. Then a police constable gave him the idea to go to the owner of the purse. He says that if he cry in front of her and apologize to her, then she will take the fir back. While Pragya called Alia just to make her feel bad. Abhi goes to Pragya’s house there he sees Sushma and pleads her to ask her daughter to take the police complaint back. He tried so much but Sushma ask him to leave.
Pragya tells her that the man who came here was her husband and the woman she got arrested was his wife Tanu. She says this time she will not be weak nor will she cry for him. Prachi is upset because Ranbir has shouted at her. Then he apologise to her and told her what Pallavi has said to him. Prachi says that if Riya had not done wrong with them, then things would have been different. Pragya goes downstairs and her doorbell rings. She opened the door and there she saw Abhi. Both are shocked to see each other.
