At the beginning of the episode, Prithvi says to the family that he is feeling really bad about everything that has happened. Ge says to everyone that Mahesh isn’t well, Rishabh is not around and Karan is in jail. He says but they don’t have to worry as he is not just the son-in-law of the family but is a son. He says he will look after everything as he really loves them. He says but they also have to accept one condition of his, they won’t trust Preeta again.
He says that they are not aware but Preeta has accepted in front of the media that she is supporting Karan for money. The family says they have seen it in the news. Prithvi says now they can see Preeta’s true colors as she is just after the Luthra money. Preeta comes there, and Prithvi says to her to come and try to trick the family again by her manipulation, that she loves them. She thinks to herself that she can’t do anything right now, and says to the family that she is tired and her money is also being wasted on getting Karan out of jail.
Sameer comes to Karan’s cell, Karan asks him why no one came to meet him, and do they believe that he is at fault. Sameer says to not say this, he has a flashback of Mahesh choking Sherlyn. He says to Karan to not think for once that the family doesn’t trust him. Karan says that in one instance everything in his life has collapsed. Sameer says somebody has knowingly put him in trouble.
Karan has a flashback of Prithvi and Preeta talking that she is doing all of this for money. He says to Sameer that he knows that it’s all Preeta, she is doing this so he can’t get rich and take back the Luthra empire from her. Shrishti comes there and says to Karan that he is misunderstanding Preeta. Karan asks Sameer to trust him for once instead of Preeta. The constable comes and sends Sameer and Shrishti away.
Preeta goes to Mahesh’s room and has a flashback of Prithvi saying to her that if she tries to get Karan out of jail he will destroy everything. She cries in front of Mahesh, who is unconscious. She says to him that she wants him to wake and stand beside her as nobody trusts her. She apologizes to him after having a meltdown, saying that she knows that his good wishes are always with her.
Prithvi celebrates and Sherlyn tells him to be careful as Preeta can be very dangerous. He says this time he has attacked a sensitive point of the family, respect and there is no coming back from there. Meanwhile, Preeta in her room calls Malkhani and asks him to send her the number of a private investigator. He does and she contacts him.
Sameer leaves the jail angrily. Shrishti tries to stop him, she asks him why is he reacting like this when he knows why Preeta is in Luthra house. He says that he knows one thing now that his brother is in jail and has asked him to trust him instead of Preeta and he will do that, he leaves in his car.
