At the beginning of the episode, Pallavi is shocked to see Mandaar’s ring in the storeroom. She asks Raghav how that ring came to Raghav’s house. Raghav says he does not know. He asks whose ring is that. Pallavi says it is Mandar’s ring. Raghav is shocked to hear that and thinks of the events from that night.
Pallavi says they got this ring made specially for Mandaar so she recognises the ring and the date on the ring is their wedding date. She asks Raghav if he had met Mandaar, but Raghav denies. Raghav says he cannot remember anything.
Later Raghav says Mandaar asked him for a lift near outer ring road, but took an auto instead. Raghav says his ring fell while getting in the auto and by the time Raghav got out to pick up the ring and give back, Mandaar had gone. That’s how he came to have that ring.
Pallavi asks how Mandaar appeared on that night, if was upset. Raghav avoids her questions. Pallavi says there are so many questions left unanswered. Pallavi says Mandaar received a phone call on that night and left immediately. They kept waiting for Mandaar but he never returned. Raghav asks her about the phone call. Jaya reminds Pallavi to go to Deshmukh house for pooja.
Raghav is confused about telling Pallavi the truth. He thinks she will figure out the truth, but he decides not to tell her. Raghav drops Pallavi to Deshmukh house.
Sharda waits for Pallavi before starting the “hawan”. Vijay says if Pallavi does not care, then they should not wait. Sharda and Vijay have an argument but Milind tells Sharda not to argue today as it is Mandaar’s birthday. They wait for Pallavi to come.
Pallavi tells Raghav that she sometimes wonders if her life would have been different had Mandaar been alive. She says there are so many unanswered questions about Mandaar’s accident and she will find answers and a closure. Raghav sees a beggar girl getting injured on the traffic light and helps her and gives her money. He says she should be in school and he will support her education from now on. Pallavi sees how kind he is.
Pallavi reaches Deshmukh house. Pallavi tells Raghav to go back, but Sharda invites him in. Pallavi sits for the “hawan”. Raghav sits too. The “pooja” starts. Pandit ji ask Raghav to give an “ahuti”, but Raghav is not able to do so out of guilt. He makes an excuse and goes from there. Raghav is stressed and says this guilt will kill him. Amruta sees him and wonders why he was behaving weirdly.
Pallavi tells Milind and Sharda that Raghav met Mandaar near outer ring road. Sharda says she has no hope for closure and they should leave the matter as is. She tells Pallavi to focus on her current life as Jaya may not like all this. Pallavi says she can guarantee that Jaya is very understanding and Raghav will also support her. She vows to find the real culprit. Pallavi says she will visit the police station and goes. Amruta tells Milind and Sharda that she saw Raghav outside and he looked very disturbed.
Pallavi reaches the police station. She comes to know the inspector in charge has been transferred and Mandaar’s case has been closed. Pallavi says she will investigate the case herself. A constable informs Raghav about Pallavi’s visit to police station. Raghav is worried.
