At the beginning of the episode, women apply Mehendi. Saksham calls Mithila to pack her bags and send to the office and he will go directly from there. Mithila tells him that he must come to complete Gopika’s fast. Saksham says he has to go because of her and asks to send Radhika’s designs too. Gopika is sad to hear all this but says she will pack Saksham’s stuff.
Ramila is shocked to see Tejal eating on Karwachauth. Tejal says she will not fast for her son. Gopika packs Saksham’s bags. She wipes off her Mehendi, as she thinks of what Saksham said to her. She thinks she will support Saksham if he wants to go. She packs his stuff.
Mithila asks if Gopika never thought of her own fast. Gopika says she will fast and will not eat anything till Saksham is back. Ashi and Meenal do puja and open their fasts. Mithila receives a call to see the news. Mithila sees the news that the flight to Tokyo has crashed and Saksham has also died in it. Everyone is shocked to hear this.
Gopika thinks of her marriage. She prays to God that she did not break her fast so how her hope can be broken. She says Saksham will definitely come back and breaks down. Keshav calls to check on the news. Chirag says there is no confirmation yet.
Gopika sits alone outside and thinks of Saksham. Meenal comes and asks her to come inside. Gopika says she will not go inside till Saksham is back. Mithila and Meenal are distraught in front of God. Keshav tells them to calm down. Mithila says how can a mother calm down when there is no news of her son. Gopika prays to KANHA JI to protect Saksham. She looks at the moon and faints. Someone comes and supports her and gives her water. She opens her eyes to see Saksham.
Saksham berates her for creating troubles in his work. He leaves her and goes inside. He tells Gopika not to follow him. Everyone is shocked. Saksham rebukes Gopika that she made a huge mistake today. Mithila hugs him. Saksham says Gopika missed putting in the designs and so he had to miss the flight.
Mithila thanks, God. Everyone hugs him. Saksham is puzzled. Mithila says they are saved because of Gopika. Chirag tells him that his flight crashed. Saksham thinks that his life was saved because of Gopika. Mithila says Gopika kept Karwachauth with full devotion and it became successful.
