At the beginning of the episode, Mithila tells Saksham and Gopika to do puja. Saksham says it is no use, as Gopika is leaving after Diwali. Saksham tells them not to force him and goes from there. Mithila says every year, they all do LAXMI PUJAN together every year. She says they will not do the puja without him. Gopika feels sad.
Tejal finishes the cleaning. Ramila says she fed her friends well and sent them away. Ramila goes into her room and sees that it is as messy as before. She screams at Tejal, but she says this is how she cleaned every room. Ramila wonders what to do with this girl.
Gopika tells Ba that she does not want everyone to be sad on Diwali. She requests Ba to call him. Ba says he will not come. Gopika says Radhika might be able to convince him. She asks Ba where Saksham could be. Ba tells where Saksham goes when he is sad.
Gopika dresses up as Radhika and goes there. Saksham recognises her footsteps. He assures her that he will not see her face till she is comfortable. Saksham asks how she knew he will be here. Radhika says humans either get lost in darkness or get inspired. Saksham says there is darkness in his life. Radhika says lighting DIYA with family will take away the darkness. Saksham says not everyone has the perfect family.
Radhika says some people do not have family despite having one. She says Saksham is lucky to have a caring family, but sadly humans do not appreciate what they have. Saksham says they may have different definition of a family. Radhika convinces him to go back to his family. She says he promised her something on their date and she wants him to join his family in puja. Gopika goes from there.
Mithila asks Chirag if Saksham is back. Ashi asks Mithila if she and Chirag can sit in puja. Mithila says both sons have the same respect in this house, but elder son must sit in puja as per tradition. Ashi thinks she has a husband who can not speak for himself. Ashi says she meant it is not right if puja does not happen. Meenal comes to call Mithila as there are only 5 minutes remaining.
Gopika wonders if Saksham will come. Mithila goes to the temple and sees Saksham there. Gopika feels elated. Saksham says he will do the AARTI for his family. He puts Radhika’s design in temple. Pandit ji asks Saksham to call Gopika too as puja can only be done in pairs. Wind blows. Saksham tells to close the windows. Gopika comes running to not let the DIYA extinguish. Saksham remove his hand. Gopika turns to go back.
