Barrister Babu is a show that is different from the saas, Bahu drama and this show is a good treat for the viewers. Its unique story is delighting and mesmerizing the viewer’s mind. Barrister Babu is a story in which a girl named Bondita was being married to an old man. And he dies in the middle of a marriage. The villagers then decide that they will do a sati ritual and will burn the young girl Bondita. Anirudh who has come from abroad is against this. And to save the little Bondita, he marries her. The main part of the story only teaches how we should stand against the evildoers.
This week we saw, Bondita inquired Thakuma why she considers the birth of a woman a sin. Thakuma announced because that’s true. Bondita did not agree with this. Later Bondita was feeling thirsty. She asked Tupur to give her some water but Tupur refused as she can’t break the rules of Thakuma. Bondita got upset. Then Tapur came there and asked Bondita what is wrong with her. Bondita explained that she wants to drink some water. Tapur mumbled that she can’t bring water for her but she is going to open the entrance. Bondita nodded in yes. But before she can drink the water, Thakuma asked her to stay away from the water pot and also rebuked her. Anirudh got angry.
Then he recommended Thakuma to call baba here and he will cure Bondita. Thakuma agreed. While Anirudh asked for Bihari’s help. The next day, an ascetic came to Thakuma’s house. Further, Anirudh realized that the one who has gone with Thakuma is not Bihari’s friend but someone else. Anirudh was scared. Bihari said that Bondita is going to be in trouble. There Thakuma explained to Baba that Bondita’s mind is damaged and she is going against the rules. So she wants Baba to cure Bondita with his miracle. Baba said that he will go alone in Bondita’s room. Bondita was sacred to see Baba and she hit him. Anirudh arrived there and baba asked Thakuma to cut the nail of Bondita. Later Bondita winched in pain.
Then Thakuma locked the room of Bondita and gave the key to Baba. Anirudh was keeping an eye on Baba on the night ahead. That is when he saw someone in a blanket. He guessed maybe it is Baba and started following him. Anirudh felt that Baba is going towards the basement. Just then he saw another man and wondered what is happening in this house. One Baba is going towards the basement and the other is going to the room of Rimjhim. He felt that he should follow the man who is going to the basement.
Anirudh further learned that the shadow he was following is not a man but Thakuma. He wondered then who was the one who went into Rimjhim’s room. Later, Baba asked Bondita to eat chilli. Bondita recollected that Anirudh had told her that she should never tolerate injustice. So Bondita refused to eat but Thakuma threatened her so she gulped all the chillies.
While later Anirudh discovered that Baba is Rimjhim’s husband Soumik and because Thakuma didn’t let them meet each other thus he came here in baba get up. Ahead Anirudh asked Baba not to bother Bondita or he will Thakuma everything. Soumik got his point. At night, Thakuma’s room was burning and Bondita saved her using water. To which Thakuma got angry because she touched water. She was about slap her but Rupa stopped her. Later with the help of Soumik Anirudh took Bondita outside. While Rimjhim Found out that Rupa is a man.
