In the beginning of the episode, Rishi asks Lakshmi why she was trying to stop the engagement. He says to her that it is only that she wants to stop the engagement as she thinks she has saved his life, she says that she has. He gets angry at her, and says to her that he had also saved life and scores are equal between them. He says to her that he understands that she wants to hurt him and his family, but it won’t happen as he will get engaged and will start a new life with Malishka. He says to Lakshmi that she is his past, and he is leaving her behind and moving on. Lakshmi stands heart broken while Rishi leaves.
The doctor informs the family that Neelam
is out of danger and they can meet her, Virendra tells Dadi that Neela is fine and the doctor has said to them that they can bring her home. Karishma takes Virendra’s permission and goes to meet Neelam and Kiran hoes with her, Neelam tells them that she is fine, and she wants Rishi and Malishka’s engagement to happen today itself as he doesn’t want to delay it and risk Lakshmi being in their life anymore.
Neelam asks Karishma to send Virender to the ward as she will speak to him about the engagement. Karishma sends Virender inside to meet Neelam. Virender asks Neelam if she is okay, as she hits her head. Neelam says to him that she is fine and asks him to tell Dadi as well that she is doing okay as she will get worried. Neelam then asks Virendra where Rishi is, and he comes inside and Malishka comes behind him. He hugs her and asks her if she is doing better. Neelam tells them that she is okay, and wants the engagement to take place today itself. Rishi says that he will do the engagement as his mother wants.
Lakshmi sees Ahana crying and consoles her. Ahana asks her why she changed so much, Lakshmi hugs her. Ahana says that she is really scared that things would change. Ayush sees Ahana and Lakshmi hugging and gets angry and separates them. He asks Lakshmi to stay away from his family as she has already caused enough pain and he doesn’t want her in their life anymore. Shalu screams at Ayush and asks him to not talk rudely with her sister, and Ayush says he doesn’t want to talk with them and takes Ahana with him. Shalu asks Lakshmi if she confessed her feelings to Rishi, and Lakshmi says that Rishi doesn’t care and wants to move on.
Lakshmi says to Shalu that she wants to see Neelam, they see in the ward but don’t find anyone. Lakshmi asks the nurse, Nurse tells that Neelam has been discharged and went home. Meanwhile at Oberoi mansion everyone prepares for Malishka and Rishi’s engagement. While Balwinder confuses that they are again getting Rishi and Lakshmi engaged.
