In last week’s episode, we see, Bijoy blesses him with the presence of mind. Ishwari and Dev get angry about the comment. Bijoy tells them that only connecting with Ayush on an emotional basis is not enough, they have to also have to take legal custody from Rohit’s parents. He tells them the child welfare people are now very serious about the protocol. Ishwari says to Dev to legally take the custody of Ayush so then he can be part of the house. Bijoy tells Dev he wants to speak to him privately. Dev tells Bijoy that Sonakshi has told him everything. Bijoy tells Dev that a child needs an outlet where they can tell everything they have in their mind and don’t have the fear of judgment. Dev says that doesn’t he think that after an age children should not share everything with their parents. Bijoy tells Dev that he knows a guy whose day doesn’t finish without taking a nap in his mother’s lap and finding solutions for this problem. Bijoy introduces himself to Ayush and tells him that he is his grandfather and he wants to know him better.Dev brings chhole bhature for Sonakshi and feeds her from his own hand. Dev asks her how he can help her. Sonakshi says keep doing what you are doing.
Sonakshi brings Ayush to the dining table. Mamaji and Mamiji are already present there and enjoying Katchori and jalebi made by Ishwari. Ishwari tells Mamaji that today she cooked especially for Ayush. She serves it to Ayush. He refuses to eat. Sonakshi stops her from forcing him to eat. Sonakshi asks Ayush if he wants to eat a sandwich. He nods Yes. Sonakshi offers him that they make it together. Ishwari is happy to see Sonakshi caring for Ayush. Sonakshi goes into the kitchen to bring cheese for the sandwich. She notices Soha’s Tiffin lying on the kitchen counter, she asks Ishwari about it. Ishwari tells Sonakshi that she forgot to pack Soha’s lunch as she was busy cooking for Ayush. Sonakshi packs the sandwich that she made and goes to drop it to Soha’s school. Dev at home tells Sonakshi that he has to go and talk to Rohit’s parents to get Ayush’s custody paper. Dev goes to Rohit’s parents house. His parents offer him money to take care of Ayush. He refuses and says that Ayush is his own son, he’ll take care of him. When they ask Dev how Ayush is getting along with the other kids, Dev gets a little nervous but then answers that they are getting along. Soha and Golu play hide and seek with Ayush and lock him up in a room.
Ayush is banging on the door calling for help. Mamiji hears some noise from the store room and calls Ishwari there. Ishwari brings Ayush out of the room. Ishwari comforts Ayush. Mamiji tells Ishwari that it’s Soha who has locked him in the room. Ishwari asks Soha and Golu about who locked Ayush in the room. Soha tells her she didn’t lock him up. Ishwari doesn’t believe her and scolds her. Soha gets scared and runs off to Dev and Sonakshi’s room. Dev asks Rohit’s parents to sign the papers so Sonakshi and he can have Ayush’s custody. Rohit’s parents get emotional after his request. They ask Dev to give them some time to process. Ishwari asks him why they need time, if Ayush is their child he should be in their house. Dev tells her it’s a bit tough for them to accept everything. Ishwari asks him if he spoke to Sonakshi. Dev tells her that she needs to be a little patient in the situation. Ishwari tells him that she trusts him that he’ll fix everything. Dev comes to his room worried about the whole situation. Sonakshi comforts him.
Sonakshi comforts Dev. She asks Dev what he is feeling. He tells her that he is not okay without Sonakshi by his side. They share a cute moment. Dev then tells Sonakshi that he met Rohit’s parents and he assures Sonakshi that he’ll sort things and get Ayush’s custody. Ayush tells her not to apologies for her side as Soha has already apologised to him in the Sonakshi then asks him if he likes pizza, he nods. Sonakshi then asks Ayush if he wants to help her cook pizza. He agrees to help her. Sonakshi asks Ayush if he has cooked anything before. Ayush tells her that he used to cook with his Dad. Sonakshi consoles him and then they cook together. Mamiji sees them together and calls Ishwari to see. Ishwari is very happy to see them bonding. Dev asks Sonakshi to meet him in their favourite cafe. Sonakshi waits for him, while he gets busy at work.
Sonakshi looks for Soha, Ishwari tells her that Soha has gone with Vicky to his place and she’ll stay there for some days. Sonakshi says that it will be a change of scene for her. Mamiji asks Sonakshi if she went for shopping to. Sonakshi tells her that it’s therapeutic to shop once in a while. Sonakshi gives Ayush a bag and tells him that she thinks he’ll like it. Ayush thanks Sonakshi and calls her Aunty. Mamiji asks Ayush to call Sonakshi, mom. Sonakshi interrupts her says let him decide when he wants to call her mother. Dev apologies to Sonakshi for not showing up at the café as something came up at work. Dev and Sonakshi take Ayush to school for admission. The principal asks Ayush his parents name, he takes Rohit’s name. The principal tells Dev and Sonakshi that they need to bring documents stating they are his parents as a requirement for School. Dev takes Ayush with him to his grandparents house. Ayush is very happy to see them and goes into his room. Dev asks Rohit’s father to sign the adoption paper as today he failed to get Ayush admitted to the new school. Rohit’s father tells him that they are not comfortable giving up Ayush’s custody as that’s the only piece they feel is left of Rohit.
Will Ishwari succeed in bringing Ayush and Sonakshi close ?
