At the beginning of the episode, Sonakshi asks Ishwari why she told Soha that she’ll give her a phone. Ishwari says she’ll give her an old-fashioned phone. Sonakshi says that she shouldn’t have bribed Soha, as the sibling bonds are created from their heart. Ishwari says she didn’t bribe her, she just promised her to give something if she did what she asked her to do.
Vicky, Elena, and Golu come to Dixit’s house. Elena clicks pictures with everyone. She takes Sonakshi in one corner and says to her that Sonakshi has come a long way in this house, the first time she came here she was a dietician and now she is the daughter-in-law of this house. Sonakshi says that without Elena her survival in this house would have been tough. Elena tells her that she would always be with Sonakshi no matter what. Everyone gets excited to see Nikki.
Nikki meets Ayush and then gives him a gift. Sonakshi asks Nikki if Neha will come. Nikki says she won’t come as a lot of guests are coming to her house but she has sent the Rakhi. Bijoy arrives with his family. Sonakshi introduces Ayush to Mishti. Ishwari tries Rakhi on Mamaji’s wrist, he gifts her a gold chain. Everyone ties Rakhi on each other’s wrists. Sourabh gifted Sonakshi and Elena the first copy of Aastha’s poetry book.
Soha ties Rakhi on Shubh and Golu’s wrist. Sonakshi asks her to tie the Rakhi on Ayush’s wrist. Soha runs off to her room. Dev goes and convinces Soha to come and tie Rakhi on his hand. She does, Ayush gives Soha handmade puppets of her and Ayush. Everyone gathers for a family photo, Soha tells Ayush that she only tied Rakhi on his wrist and he won’t become a Dixit because of it. Dev cheers Ayush up.
In the room, Sonakshi praises Dev for how he handled both Soha and Ayush in the situation. Dev tells Sonakshi that now they have got Ayush’s custody and now he is their son both legally and biologically. Sonakshi says this is the biggest news of today for them.
Upcoming- Mamaji tells Ishwari to not rename Ayush without telling Sonakshi and Dev. Ishwari says that this is necessary to do as Ayush is still connected to Rohit’s parents and is not able to become a member of the family because of the name. Ishwari brings Ayush down from his room for the ritual.
